Having good personal hygiene is essential to keep our body in a constant state of well-being, to prevent infections, diseases and epidemic and to protect everyday relationships with other individuals (think of the workplace, the schools, gymnasiums)

BODY CARE : Our body is in daily contact with pathogens .Moreover, bodily secretions and sweat always favor -not only after to physical exertion- the development of microbes and microorganisms, as well as a bad smell. We don’t have to give up the daily cleansing of our body; Here are the basic steps :

• Shower: a daily shower, in particular in the morning, allows us not only to activate our body and to tone our skin, but also to assure us a good personal hygiene during the day; parts such as the neck, face, behind the ears, genitals should also be washed with more care. In the event of a shower in public places (gyms, swimming pools), it is important to use your own clean towels which have not come into contact with the skin of the other people.

• The daily change of underwear: a fabric used on a single day accumulates a large number of germs; it is therefore necessary to change underwear every day (soon after a shower).

• Make sure you go to bed clean: because the sheets on our bedmay collect and retain germs.

TEETH HYGIENE: Removing food debris out of our mouth is a very important element: weshould, therefore, brush our teeth after every meal and take our time to do this withtoothpaste and a good toothbrush. We should perform a movement from top to bottomwith rotation, reaching all the teeth for about three minutes.Proper oral hygiene will decrease the formation of plaque, will prevent gum problems andhelp you maintain healthy teeth and oral cavity.

HANDS HYGIENE: It is essential to wash your hands (the part of our body which comesin contact with external objects) very often; washing must be done with care:

• First take off rings and bracelets (below which it can nest dirt);

• Rub your hands with good detergent for at least thirty seconds;

• Rinse with clean water;

• If possibly dry them with mono use towels or clean towels (towels for most people avoid or avoid common towels left damp near the toilets);

• keep your nails short & clean.

EARS HYGIENE: Maintaining healthy ears should be part of everyone’s hygiene regime.Checking your ears for dirt, excessive wax, skin conditions and other potential harmful factorsshould be a regular occurrence. By keeping a check-up on your ear health you will alsoensure you do not experience hearing loss.

NOSE HYGIENE : The nose is a vehicle of contamination: on one hand by breathing we putin our bodies the elements that are in the air, on the other with a sneeze or a runny nose wecan convey to others our microbes. For the hygiene of the nose is therefore essential to payattention to put ting your hand in front of your mouth and nose when you sneezefrequently and use disposable tissues (more hygienic than cloth and useful to keep the nasalpassages open and cleaned).

INTIMATE HYGIENE: A deep hygiene of our intimate area is fundamental. We need to pay aspecial attention because this area is very sensitive and delicate and there are many risks ofproliferation of germs and very susceptible to infections.Intimate hygiene is very important both for male and female.

Here are some tips we should all to prevent the risks .

• washing thorough once or twice a day; • using good Intimate cleansing products , better if pH 0 and fragrance free;• changing daily your underwear; • drying thoroughly after each wash.

Intimate hygiene is an essential practice that helps significantly to reduce infections bypathogenic microorganisms and eliminates contamination between individuals.
