We will be celebrating the 7th Anniversary of Sameway in the coming issue. I sincerely invite you to come and join us in a thanksgiving gathering to be held at the Box Hill St Paul s Lutheran Church (711 Station Street, Box Hill).

We earnestly thank for the care and support of all readers to our service in the Chinese community over the past 7 years. At the onset of our publication many reckoned it merely as a religious publication from a Christian organisation; as time goes our readers discover our aim is not to preach religion through the publication because we believe that another way of spreading the Good News is to live out the Gospel in the community.

Sameway is a publication of the Rejoice organisation and we also make use of this platform to promote our other activities such as bookshop, adult education, overseas student service and community radio broadcasting etc. Maybe you are not fully aware of all these activities and we have been waiting for a good opportune to allow you to know more about them.

With your support, it has been our honour to participate in the community. We thank God and we thank you all. Every year we hold annual dinner for our supporters and readers to gather together for encouragement. On 10th September this year we will be holding a Ministry Exhibition of Rejoice at the Boxhill St Paul s Lutheran Church. The exhibition will start at 11:00 a.m. We have invited Lieutenant Colonel Samuel Pho, the Chief Commander of Salvation Army in Hong Kong and the member of Parliament of Forest Hill, Mr Neil Angus as our guest speakers during 2pm to 3pm on the day.

We sincerely you can come to join the occasion in meeting our co-workers. You can meet our colleagues, have a chat and share with us your opinions towards Sameway. Every year, I treasure the opportunity to meet our readers as even though we may not know each other, but we all walk along the same way.
