BI-MONTHLY BULLETIN OF THE EUROPEAN CENTRE OF RESEARCH AND TRAINING ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND HUMANITARIAN ACTION Editor-in-chief: Professor Stelios Perrakis

The Centre was established in 2005 within the Department of International and European Studies, Section of International and European Institutions of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences of Athens, on Professor Stelios Perrakis initiative. The Centres goals and objectives: - researching and studying issues relating to the international and european protection of human rights, International Humanitarian Law, humanitarian action and related issues of International Law - promoting the cooperation with international institutions such as the United Nations, UNESCO, the Council of Europe, the European Union, the UNHCR, the International Committee of the Red Cross - cooperating with NGOs that serve and promote the same with the Centre objectives - providing consultative services - organizing training seminars - publishing studies etc. The Centre is administered by a 5-member Administrative Board, presided by Professor Stelios Perrakis, who is also the Director of the Centre.
