WHAT’S INSIDE Hello Sisters – my name is Andreia. I graduated from the Iota Theta chapter at WLU in 2014. I was born and raised in Toronto and I am very pleased to be back! I am currently working as the PR/Marketing Coordinator for an event design company called Three Design, as well as with Entertainment One for the duration of the Toronto International Film Festival. I love Alpha Phi because it has helped me define myself as a friend and a leader. I love being around inspiring women, and you all give me that opportunity. I am addicted to Starbucks, and I can’t wait to share a latte with you!

Andre ia McLean Panhellenic Delegate

Hello Sisters – my name is Chelsea and I am a recent graduate of the Iota Theta Chapter at WLU. I am originally from White Rock, BC – just outside of Vancouver, but moved to Ontario four years ago. While I am still adjusting to the winters, I have made lifelong friends here and am happily living in the GTA. In the future I hope to pursue a career in teaching and will be returning to school in 2016 to make that dream come true. I love baking, true crime television shows and anything monogrammed, and I can’t wait to connect with more Alpha Phi sisters to continue making amazing memories.

Che lsea Bi r tch MAP Coordinator

Hi Sisters! My name is Tess and I am a 2014 graduate from the Iota Theta Chapter. I’m a small town girl with big city dreams, and I love all things Alpha Phi! I am currently a product sell-through strategist for lululemon’s sister company ivivva, and I’m heading to Queen’s next summer to study Management Analytics. I am passionate about fitness - dance, aerial yoga and barre are among my favourites - so I would love to join you for a sweat date this fall! I’m very excited for all that we have planned for the upcoming months, as our sisters continue to grow individually unique and together complete.

Congratulations Class of 2015!

On Sunday, May 3rd, the Toronto & Area Alumnae Chapter gathered at 7 West Café for its Annual General Meeting and Graduate Tea. We had record-breaking attendance at this event, as we welcomed sisters from Toronto, Laurier, Western and Bishop’s into alumnae status and conducted our 2015 biennial election. We celebrated Taleah Clarke’s term as President, and honoured Monica Monczka with lifetime membership for her continued devotion to our alumnae chapter!

!The alumnae chapter kicked off the summer with a crafting event

at Michaels. Painting, gluing and bedazzling brought back fond memories of recruitment and

sisterhood events as a collegian. After a long workday, it was nice to unwind, catch up with sisters

and do a creative activity. The best part - we took our crafts home to hang up with pride.

Finally, the alumnae chapter celebrated the August long

weekend at a Jays game. We had great seats (fifth row!) and had

the opportunity to get a VIP tour of the Rogers Centre and the

Jays’ Executive Office. The ambiance at these games always

makes for a great event; sisters cheered, ate lots of popcorn and

took way too many pictures! The next event was a Summerlicious dinner at The Blake House downtown. It was great to experience one of the many unique events Toronto has to offer. It was a warm summer evening and sisters got to dress up to fit the mood. It was also funny to see how many of us ordered and liked the same foods; great minds think alike!
