• A football player believes that one way to be approached with the goal of fixing a match, is through a mutual acquaintance.

• When people, who hold a high office in the football environment, approach football players for fixing matches, they are able to influence the results immensely.

• Financial need is a factor that would make a football player participate in a fixed match.

• A large percentage is aware of the repercussions when participating in a fixed match. • A large percentage is aware that football players have been imprisoned for

participating in fixed matches • A football player would firstly speak to his Union if someone approached him with the

goal of participating in a fixed game. Secondly, he would speak to his team. • A player would not communicate with the media if someone approached him with the

goal of participating in a fixed game, unless it was done anonymously.

Summary of Answers

• In continuation of the 7th result, we conclude that a player believes he does not have the protection to speak about the approach made with the goal of fixing a match. Meaning, that he does not feel safe.

• When the person who approaches a football player with the goal of persuading him to participate in a fixed game, is arrested, he would like to ensure the player’s silence.

• The main purpose for attempting to organize fixed games, is for betting. • A football player believes that the phenomenon of fixed games may be dealt with,

when awarding heavy penalties. • People, who hold a high office in the football environment, are the ones who hold the

greatest responsibility in influencing the opinion of football players. • The player’s character and personality play a bigger part in the case that he

participates in a fixed match, as opposed to the age factor. • A player seems to understand that the impact, when his name is involved a case of a

fixed match, is huge.
