Product Information Sheet: Reproductive and Genetic Health Description The SurePlex DNA Amplification System reproducibly amplifies total DNA from single cells or a few cells to produce 2–5 μg of amplified DNA in 2 hours. The SurePlex system is intended for use within 24sure™ protocols, before labeling and hybridization to 24sure or 24sure+ microarrays, and for use in VeriSeq preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) applications. Supply The SurePlex kit is supplied in a single pack, suitable for 50 amplification reactions, and is shipped on dry ice. For detailed information on the SurePlex DNA Amplification System, see the Contents section. The SurePlex DNA Amplification System consists of eight components, including the enzymes and buffers required to perform the amplification protocol. The contents are provided in clear screw- capped tubes with color-coded lids referred to in the SurePlex laboratory protocol. The SurePlex Amplification System pack includes a protocol insert. Each pack is labeled with the product name and model number, lot number, storage conditions, and expiration date. Storage Upon receipt, the SurePlex DNA Amplification System should be stored at -20°C in a non–frost-free freezer until required. The SurePlex DNA Amplification system should be used before the expiration date. Technical Specifications The SurePlex DNA Amplification System uses semi-random, non–self- complementary primers to make a library of DNA sequences that can be amplified > 1,000-fold. The kit employs a universal-primer PCR to produce DNA of a standard concentration that can then be used for a downstream application, such as microarray hybridization. Quality Control Each lot of SurePlex kits is performance-tested for quality assurance. Female genomic DNA is amplified using the SurePlex protocol and reaction products quantified by agarose gel electrophoresis. Absence of reagent contamination is checked using negative-control reactions. The amplified products are labeled and analyzed in two 24sure sex-mismatched hybridizations. The spread of data points on the autosomal chromosomes, and the shift from 0 (log 2 scale) of data points on the sex chromosomes are used to determine performance. To make sure that components of the SurePlex Amplification System are supplied with the correct quantities, three kits from each batch are checked for reagent fill volumes. Description

The SurePlex DNA Amplification System reproducibly amplifies total DNA from single cells or a few cells to produce 2–5 μg of amplified DNA in 2 hours. The SurePlex system is intended for use within 24sure™ protocols, before labeling and hybridization to 24sure or 24sure+ microarrays, and for use in VeriSeq preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) applications.

Supply

The SurePlex kit is supplied in a single pack, suitable for 50 amplification reactions, and is shipped on dry ice. For detailed information on the SurePlex DNA Amplification System, see the Contents section.

The SurePlex DNA Amplification System consists of eight components, including the enzymes and buffers required to perform the amplification protocol. The contents are provided in clear screw-capped tubes with color-coded lids referred to in the SurePlex laboratory protocol.

The SurePlex Amplification System pack includes a protocol insert. Each pack is labeled with the product name and model number, lot number, storage conditions, and expiration date.

Storage

Upon receipt, the SurePlex DNA Amplification System should be stored at -20°C in a non–frost-free freezer until required.

The SurePlex DNA Amplification system should be used before the expiration date.

Technical Specifications

The SurePlex DNA Amplification System uses semi-random, non–self-complementary primers to make a library of DNA sequences that can be amplified > 1,000-fold. The kit employs a universal-primer PCR to produce DNA of a standard concentration that can then be used for a downstream application, such as microarray hybridization.

Quality Control

Each lot of SurePlex kits is performance-tested for quality assurance. Female genomic DNA is amplified using the SurePlex protocol and reaction products quantified by agarose gel electrophoresis. Absence of reagent contamination is checked using negative-control reactions. The amplified products are labeled and analyzed in two 24sure sex-mismatched hybridizations. The spread of data points on the autosomal chromosomes, and the shift from 0 (log2 scale) of data points on the sex chromosomes are used to determine performance.

To make sure that components of the SurePlex Amplification System are supplied with the correct quantities, three kits from each batch are checked for reagent fill volumes.
