TRIZ is a creative and analytical method for solving problems and generating new ideas. You will learn concepts that are derived from all known technical successes from the world’s knowledge and publications. The logical and accessible methodology is applicable to all kinds of technical and management problems, provides access to the knowledge of the world and can get teams working effectively together. TRIZ can be used as an independent method, but also fits seamlessly into the Design for Six Sigma (DfSS) program. In the Identify/Design phase of DfSS DIDOV, TRIZ provides opportunities to generate ideas for elegant, cost-effective and low-risk solutions. In short; a creative and structured process to help you solve problems effectively and develop your next generation of products. This One Day Workshop TRIZ provides an excellent complementary course for Green and Black Belts. What can you expect? The introduction by Oxford Creativity on the TRIZ process and tools provides you with an overview of how this method gives direction to problem analysis and resolution. In this context, TRIZ is aiming primarily at solving specific problems. In the program of this workshop, you will find a selection of TRIZ tools that will be explained. The CTQ Flow Down is a powerful tool to connect the expectations of the customer with your company business objectives, expressed in measurable units. The TRIZ method is in the DfSS Identify phase a welcome addition in the creative process to obtain design options. The DfSS mindset to reduce variation as early as possible in the development process continues to be: ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure’. The purpose of the workshopHolland Innovative is organizing this workshop in collaboration

with Oxford Creativity from the UK. TRIZ is a creative and analytical

method for solving problems and generating new ideas. You will

learn concepts that are derived from all known technical successes

from the world’s knowledge and publications. The logical and

accessible methodology is applicable to all kinds of technical and

management problems, provides access to the knowledge of the

world and can get teams working effectively together.

TRIZ can be used as an independent method, but also fits

seamlessly into the Design for Six Sigma (DfSS) program. In the

Identify/Design phase of DfSS DIDOV, TRIZ provides opportunities

to generate ideas for elegant, cost-effective and low-risk

solutions. In short; a creative and structured process to help you

solve problems effectively and develop your next generation of

products. This One Day Workshop TRIZ provides an excellent

complementary course for Green and Black Belts.

What can you expect? The introduction by Oxford Creativity on the TRIZ process and

tools provides you with an overview of how this method gives

direction to problem analysis and resolution. In this context,

TRIZ is aiming primarily at solving specific problems. In the

program of this workshop, you will find a selection of TRIZ tools

that will be explained.

DfSS provides the translation of the customer wishes to Critical

to Quality (CTQ) specifications for development in the Product

Creation Process. The CTQ Flow Down is a powerful tool to

connect the expectations of the customer with your company

business objectives, expressed in measurable units. The TRIZ

method is in the DfSS Identify phase a welcome addition in the

creative process to obtain design options. The DfSS mindset to

reduce variation as early as possible in the development process

continues to be: ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure’.

In an increasingly competitive business environment, creative innovation is fundamental to engineering success. TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) is intelligently reusing proven solutions from e.g. patents. TRIZ contains a complete method, fits seamlessly in Design for Six Sigma and belongs in the toolbox of Green & Black Belts, developers and problem solvers.
