Bench Tops f o r Radioisotope W o r k
Iso-Shel, a material highly resistant to absorption of rays emitted by radioactive isotopes, can be used as a bench or table top in research laboratories and hospitals. The resinous surface has a satin jet black finish. Ε. Η. Sheldon Equipment Co., Muskegon, Mich. 425
Continuous Flow Cent r i fugat ion Unit
The Helixtractor, continuous flow unit, separates material in a vertical coil of plastic tubing placed on the inside wall of the head.
The plastic tubing can be readily sterilized and the whole unit can be autoclaved. The Helixtractor can be attached to Model PR-2 refrigerated centrifuge. Technical Bulletin P-2. International Equipment Co., 12S4 Soldiers Field Road, Boston 35, Mass.

Single Channel Analyzer
Model 33-10, antiwalk single channel analyzer, is a precision, highly stable differential pulse height analyzer.
Output pulse time stability is less than 10 nanoseconds shift for 1 to 10 volts double delay input pulse with 0.25 ^second rise time. Radiation Instrument Development Laboratory, Inc., 4501 W. North Ave., Melrose Park, 111.

CONNECTOR SIZES FOR VACUUM APPARATUS
T H R E E N E W S I Z E S , the 50 m m , 75 m m , and 100 m m I.D. connectors , are the latest addi t ions to an extensive list of Kontes " O " Ring Connectors in glass, stainless steel, and brass.
V A C U U M A P P A R A T U S made with Kontes " O " Ring Connectors requires m i n i m u m d isp lacement to assemble, avoids lubr icants, and holds vacuums of 10-6 m m of Hg.
L U B R I C A N T FREE connect ions are obtained because the hemispher ical connector arms are separated, but sealed by a Buna-N or Viton® " O " Ring*—not by a grease. This avoids st ick ing and f reezing prob lems associated wi th ground glass joints.
M E T A L T O GLASS coupl ing is a s imple matter now using a standard glass connector and a s tandard brass or stainless steel connector. Compared to graded metal and glass seals, the rug-gedness and f lexibi l i ty of such connect ions are part icular ly impressive. *0ptional Viton "0" rings, which are recommended for service with steam, silicone greases, and oils, are also resistant to oxygen and ozone. The temperature limit using Buna-N is 150°C—with Viton 300°C. intermittently, 200°C. continuously. ©Viton is a registered trademark of E. I. duPont Co.
