When the Greeks copied the Phoenician alphabet in the 8th century BC, they were missing the vowels to yield their language in an understandable way. Then they gave value of vowels in a number of Semitic consonants that were unknown in the Greek language. Since then, the Greek alphabet was completed: with 17 consonants and 7 vowels. Total sounds: 24. 8 .., , . . , , : 17 7 . : 24.
THE GREEK ALPHABETIn the framework of Erasmus + group of students worked on the theme of the Greek alphabet. Seven students of 3rd grade of our school have learned to form with their bodies the 24 letters of the Greek alphabet. The students presented the alphabet with this original way during the workshop held in Berlin (December 2014).TO Erasmus+ . 24 . workshop ( 2014).
