By name…

EUNICE is a feminine given name,

from the Greek Εὐνίκη, Euníkē, from

"eu", which means good, and "níkē",

which means victory.

Eunice is one of the Nereids in the

Greek Mythology.

Introduction

EUNICE ENERGY GROUP (EEG) is the first Greek Group to develop and invest

in Renewable Energy Sources (RES) projects, generating and allocating

electricity from Renewable Energy Sources (RES).

Thanks to the overall know-how and full activity in the field of electricity from

RES, EEG is a "partner of choice" for international organizations, companies

and funds that are interested in projects in Greece, and Europe in general.

The Group implements novelties and delivers smart energy solutions. Soon,

every individual or facility will be able to become a NetProsumer - a

producer as well as a part in the energy exchange grid.

By developing and applying innovations, EEG is appointed and established as

the Greek power to implement energy from Renewable Energy Sources (RES)

in everyday life.

• The Group recently announced the signing of a contract with Blink Charging Co.,

USA for the creation of the Blink Europe consortium and its entry into the European

Aegean Project Map

• The interconnection of the AIGAIO Project has been included in the Ten-

Year Network Development Plan of ENTSO-E under the title “Project 293 –

Southern Aegean Interconnector (SAI)”. ENTSO-E is the European Network

of Transmission System Operators, representing 42 electricity transmission

system operators (TSOs) from 35 countries across Europe. ENTSO-E was

established by European TSOs with a mandate by the EU’s Third

Legislative Package for the Internal Energy Market in 2009, which aims at

further liberalizing the gas and electricity markets in the EU.

• In addition, the interconnection of the AIGAIO Project has been included

in “The Ten-Year Network Development Plan, with the distinctive title

“Southern Aegean Interconnector (SAI)” TYNDP” of 2014 and successfully

remained in the plan’s recent update of 2016 (TYNDP 2016) and 2018

(TYNDP 2018).20

S4S IN OPERATION

S4S in operation at Tilos Island

• The Hybrid Tilos Station is in operation and has

measurable results

• It includes an 800kW wind turbine, an 160kW

photovoltaic solar panel park and storage in a total

two battery capacity of 400kWh (x2)

• The design and development of the project storage

system has been integrated into the HORIZON2020

program (European Commission Convention No.

646529-TILOS-H2020-LCE-2014-2015 / H2020-LCE-

2014-3)

TILOS Project: International awards

TILOS Project was part of the pioneering European research program

HORIZON2020. EUNICE ENERGY GROUP (EEG), as the leading private

partner in the consortium, designed, funded and created the hybrid

station, which is considered the prototype of the S4S application.

In 2017, TILOS Project won the "Energy Islands" award, which was judged

by a panel of experts and was announced as the winner in ENERGY

ISLANDS sector by European Commission and also received the CITIZEN’S

AWARD.

Today, EEG owns and operates the Hybrid Station, with the S4S in Tilos

operating fully to meet the island's total power consumption requirements.

This event established Tilos as the first energy autonomous island of the

Mediterranean.

EW16 θέτις is manufactured by

EUNICE WIND with a total power of

50kW.

The first Greek wind turbine EW16 θέτις, manufactured in Mandra, Attica, by

EUNICE WIND, member of the Group EUNICE ENERGY GROUP (EEG), is the

crown of modern technology in the field of wind power and is suitable for

medium-scale wind systems.

Ideal for mid-scale wind parks, for interconnected or self-contained systems

that have very low noise levels and require minimal maintenance. The EW16 θέτις stands out for its high reliability, performance and efficient

design.

The fully integrated manufacturing process ensures that EW16 θέτις is an

innovative product while, at the same time satisfies the most stricter

international regulations for interconnection of energy networks.

EW16 θέτις is designed in accordance with IEC 61400-2 standards while the

EUNICE WIND factory is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 for all its

activities.
