100% Natural & Non-‐Toxic
DRAGONITE is an all-‐natural ingredient and received the highest toxicology rating of all halogen-‐free flame retardants by industry oversight firm, Green Screen.
Introduction
DRAGONITE™ is a non-‐halogenated, halloysite-‐based mineral engineered as a reinforcing flame retardant.
DRAGONITE can be utilized as a partial replacement of ATO or a synergist in conjunction with other FR agents such as MDH, ATH, glass fiber and organo clay.
Reinforcement
DRAGONITE enhances strength and modulus with excellent retention of impact resistance and elongation, ideal for applications such as structural parts and cable formulations.
This is in contrast to other mineral flame retardants which typically require high loading rates and lead to the deterioration of mechanical properties.
Advanced Natural Transparent Iron Oxide Pigments
Key Benefits
Synergistic
DRAGONITE works as a synergist with phosphorous-‐based systems, other minerals FR agents, and halogenated products.
Incorporation of Dragonite leads to improved results and a reduced loading of the overall FR package.
