1. NEVER BEGAN

●RECORD

I

PAY ATTENTION TO ALL THAT YOU ARE

listening, because all that is real and it happened

when we were participating in the worst game ever

invented. Actually not really a game but a very

strange reality show called 336 HOURS. I do not

have much time so listen. You probably found this

tape in a wooden box on a beach all in Louisiana.

Do not turn off and listen carefully.

You should hide this tape so done listening

and hope that no monster the old dog, now you run

a great danger. I am one of only three survivors so

far a real sick game in a Greek-style labyrinth that

is close to Louisiana. My name is Jefferson Ferraz

and I am fourteen and I lived in any one town that

is New Orleans in Louisiana, I found out the hard

way that I was a demigod, half man half God. I just

discovered it thanks to this sickening and deadly

game. I think if my best friend would describe me

say that I have straight hair dark (I have a sort of

attachment to it so that whenever it step by hand to

remove foreign bodies, but I do not think I will

include it along the recording ), brown eyes and a

white skin and I'm always wearing clean clothes. In

Page 12: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

— 12 —

addition to always use my lucky charm is a collar

around my neck. A dragon "mechanical" because it

was made of metal and gears.

A few days ago I was in my school library

doing research on Greek mythology to deliver to

my history teacher. He and the type of person and a

perfectionist, if there is a wrong word was the 10th

least in their work. I was not the kind of student

who mess much, but was not shy, I was the most

common type.

I was sitting almost in last place in the third row

when the teacher came in and started talking crap

about the Greek myths and how they influence our

lives, it was boring. The hours were slow to pass

the time like my grandfather, slow!

Until a colleague sent me a messages with the

words THIS DRUG and I started laughing and

almost at the same time the teacher was taking the

phone out of my hand and reading the message.

“It this that do you think of my class Mr. Ferraz,

that she is a drug” he walked to the front of the

room “Class, Mr. Ferraz thinks that talking about

Greek myths and Olympians is boring or how he

said it sucks, I do not know if you make use of

these supstances, but I think my class is not like it

at all with them”

Page 13: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

336 HOURS

— 13 —

.

“ I don’t know what you are talking about” I

tried to protest.

“ Ten leaves upon Greek mythology on my table

tomorrow "sir" I think the lesson of history is a

drug, this is I'm not bothering you it is clear” He

finished throwing my colleague's cell phone in a

landfill.

The guy is an idiot, but I could not do anything

but to spend the afternoon reading and writing

about those myths boring and useless. I actually

spent hours writing and when I finally finished the

library was empty with only the monitors staring

me something about clearing his throat and watch

your TV series.

That was not my day if you understand. First a

horrible job and then a bath means two baths

because of rain so I went out I got wet in a can of

water and took a few steps when a car went through

a puddle of her giving me a blast.

At that moment I almost exploded, but I

restrained myself and I put my hood up and walked

about half an hour in the rain until my house gets

after a few blocks.

Page 14: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

— 14 —

I had to go through a park to get to my house

which was only two blocks from the park was

deserted and wet. As soon as I entered I felt a

shiver down the spine, but I kept walking until I

felt someone following me. I continued to walk, but

every step hurt a lot and was worse than lying on a

bed of thorns. The park was full of old trees,

fountains old, old banks, that is, was old.

I never had so scared about that park that night.

I knew he was being followed so I started to run up

to excruciating pain to take care of me, the pain

was strong in my neck and I could not stand it and

started screaming. It hurt so much that can not even

remember that moment very well, until now I have

chills.

My vision was blurry I just saw a figure of a

man carrying me. I remember waking up in a cabin

in the woods, quickly dismissed that this site was

the park that I had never seen a hut in the middle of

a park. I was shirtless and burning with fever at

least that's what I heard. Actually I could see my

clothes on top of a bedside table and I was dressed

as a boy of Greek ancient mythology.

“Revealed a demigod, then form twelve and the

symbol and fever may be the son of the sun god

think this soup will help you” said a very strange

woman.

Page 15: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

336 HOURS

— 15 —

I tried to raise more the woman stopped me.

“I would not if I were you, a demigod revealed

is the worst thing that can happen on a day like this,

you need to rest-this” was the last thing I remember

that night.

I woke in my bed. I was with my clothes, but

they were soaked I could not see very well and had

a very strong pain in the neck as if something was

burning him.

I could barely get out of bed to hit the ground.

I was creeping to the door and I ran with my

sister who was ready to work. She picked me up

and could not even touch me, she took me to bed

and took a thermometer. My sister Lisa was very

careful, since our parents died, she and full of care

to me and makes me a little too free.

“Are you burning with fever, put on your coat,

let the doctor” said Lisa run to her room.

“I am well, doctors will say that I need to take

an aspirin and a cold bath, if I get better after doing

both here at home I am otherwise I will” I

protested, going to the bathroom.

The drops of water seemed knives coming at

me, but soon felt better and after taking an aspirin I

really improved. A strange thing was that the water

Page 16: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

— 16 —

flowing into the drain was red. I was wiping away

when I saw something strange in the neck, perhaps

the reason of it all.

It was the mark of a sun and I did not

understand much because it appeared on my neck,

but I left it there and put a clean cloth. My sister

took my temperature again and it was normal, then

it released me so I could go to school. I went into

the bedroom to get my bag and saw a strange

scene.

There was a puddle of water right under my

bed. I did not care and started my walk towards my

school. So I went through the old square I

remembered my dream, and I could see myself

falling on the wet floor.

I was so distracted that he did not notice a

bump on my back.

There was no monster or something like that

was just my friend Naomi who was trying to scare

me. She cried because I almost got there in the

middle of the park was very busy. She started

laughing and soon after said:

“You're a coward himself”

Page 17: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

336 HOURS

— 17 —

“You took me by surprise, it was not fair to

me” I argued.

She followed me all the way, she was studying

in my room and she had black hair and a nose

pirce. We had the same age I had a crush on her, a

fall that almost made us lovers. She was a little

rebellious which made her very interesting. All

went well until finally the teacher of history appear

and lost his job that he had spent the previous day.

I had done so when he asked for and got out of

my wallet and handed him the job that caught and

tore at my face and then threw in the trash and

looked at me as if he wanted to kill me. He called

me to the front of the room and I was very upset by

what he had just done, I had to control myself not

to punch that white skinny with gray hair and a

nose of witch.

“At least I know one thing, you could not find

my class a drug, you have researched and so it will

get only one warning, if you do it again will get

much worse, now feels!”

He turned and began to prepare your lesson.

He started explaining things about Greek and

Roman gods. I almost sleep in that class until

something caught my attention.

Page 18: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

— 18 —

I remembered of my dream and ...

They are persecuted me, things are bad here in the

maze, they found me and want to kill me. There

were two birds, or a mixture of birds and horses

they were just statues, but a few minutes they

began to haunt me. I'm not sure if my friends are

alive, but I have to survive. Since the challenge

began several creatures are chasing me, trying to

kill me and how they are trying to do now.

***

It's alright now, the creatures are Pegasus was

chasing me and they are just a piece of cake

compared to what I experienced during the last two

weeks of my life. Well, I'll have to go back to

history before my time runs out. The name of my

history teacher is Uncle B, everyone at school

called him so because he always changed the B by

P and his real name was Ben or Benjamin Parker

also influenced this name to your nickname.

He was saying something about the gods and

their symbols until one of them caught my

attention. He spoke clearly the symbol of Apollo

was a sun, a bow or a lyre. I remembered the old

Page 19: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

336 HOURS

— 19 —

lady who was in the cabin. What she had spoken

seemed to be true.

At that moment my neck started to hurt and I

actually weighed that he would die of pain there in

front of the entire room. I would not, I was dying of

pain.

II

Cough, cough. Excuse me, I'm a serious problem in

the throat since I came to this maze frightening and

deadly, but continuing my story. I started to feel

sick and the fever returned and I was sure that even

I could feel something heavy in the air. The only

thing I could do was ask Uncle B out and he tried

to arrest me plus I got out I always get.

I walked as fast as possible to the bathroom and

when I got there I wet my face and looked at my

mark on the neck. She was brilliant and practically

screaming at me. I started to moan in pain as he

looked back to see a hideous woman behind me.

She was old and had strange eyes, she was

dressed entirely in black and had a creepy smile.

She looked at me and then I was sure to hear a cry,

but then I was deaf. The mirror broke in threw me

on the floor, everything was glass had burst. The

dark figure moved quickly to me.

Page 20: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

— 20 —

“Son of Apollo, as is his lovely golden she is

strong and will be destroyed very soon, you have

been recruited as a sacrifice, you just got his death

sentence”

I closed my eyes and screamed.

There were pieces of mirror on the floor and

there was also a woman dressed in black in the

bathroom. Everything was the same way as before

and it scared me a little. I did not know what was

real or not things got really bad.

Uncle B was still in the room explaining things

about Greek and Roman mythology and saying that

both are similar. He showed slides through the

figures of Greek gods and their Roman form and

then he showed some creatures. It was boring and I

was too preoccupied to be able to think of

something stupid Greek.

Son of Apollo

This expression came into my mind every

minute and the woman's face. Recruited as a

sacrifice, I did not understand what it meant, just

invaded my mind. I could not concentrate in class

and my neck hurt more every minute

Page 21: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

336 HOURS

— 21 —

“Well, with that I close the part apout gods now

pelieve that everyone knows apout the origin of

Greek mythology and the holy pook that does not

exist” said Uncle B changing slide. “We will now

see the monsters peginning with the Greek harpies

that are a mixture of a woman with pird, they are

considered the sisters of Iris”

I recognized the picture on the slide. I took a

big scare that almost got sick, the woman who had

attacked me in the bathroom was a harpy a Greek

mythological creature in the world. I really thought

it was all myths invented by men to explain things,

but after my experience I have found that myth was

not the correct designation for that.

I could hardly realize it, but things would

change abruptly from now on especially after I

received a subpoena. After he saw the image of the

harpy I put the pocket of my coat, still do not know

why I did that, but I did and found a card with a

picture of a sun and a strange message.

Before the door someone will expire by someone

you will not believe!

Page 22: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

— 22 —

Below there was an address and forced me to

go at five o'clock for that location. I do not

understand that, but the brand that suddenly

appeared on my neck was burning and I could not

understand why. Perhaps this place could give me

some answers.

***

I had to invent a very good excuse for both my

sister who was leaving work to prepare dinner and

also for my school that only accepted students who

leave after half past five in the afternoon.

The card told me to go inside an abandoned

railroad from New Orleans. I followed it with fear.

It took almost an hour to reach the place and I

was right at five o'clock, there were more than four

other boys and three girls. Each had a strange mark

on the neck. I walked toward a boy who was crying

in the corner away from others.

Even with fourteen years he wept as I made

little child and other times I would beat him until

he cries in pain.

“What's going on?” I asked.

Page 23: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

336 HOURS

— 23 —

“Let's die, and what will happen” to the kid

who spoke kept crying.

“Pleasure, my name is Jefferson Ferraz and

how well we die?”

“My father prepared me for this moment, he

said that my mother was a goddess Athena and she

literally” said, taking it from his pocket a card

similar to what I got “When a demigod full

fourteen years and he offered as a sacrifice to a

maze with scary creatures, only a few survived”

Before he could speak any one loud whistle

echoed through the station and a train arrived. The

station was almost falling apart as the train was

huge and black. A being came from the shadows

and forced us to get on the train that probably had a

certain destiny.

As we entered, I could feel a strong smell of

old and musty. There were three boys and a girl on

the train they were sitting in an old armchair and

cobwebs. Once all the train came and went and

started shaking a lot. A strange man with black suit

out of a wagon and walked up to the middle of the

wagon.

Page 24: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

— 24 —

“I bet you are confused and wonder why they

are here and because stranger things have happened

in the last hour” said the man.

Looking good man was a youth of eighteen in

a suit and a beard on his face and piercing blue

eyes. His black hair was short and did all your

features and want to die. The man gestured with his

hands for everyone to follow them to the next

wagon.

We did not know what awaited us.

The new car looked like a wagon of a luxury

train with butlers and more comfortable seats.

There was a smell of flowers in the air as it relieved

the heavy weather we face as we enter the first

wagon.

“Every two years since we were driven from

power is a 336 hours, a challenge that always ends

with the death of several demigods and I know you

have not completed fourteen years yesterday, but a

few weeks ago” he paused and took a sip of a

drink. “Each of you, and son of the twelve great

Olympian gods and this and the eleventh edition of

336 hours consisting of twelve demigods playing in

a maze full of monsters and give a prize to anyone

who can leave, before going on I'll be the patron of

Page 25: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

336 HOURS

— 25 —

this years, my name is Gregory or you can call me

Hades.”

Some others had a shock or surprised. I could

not believe my father was the sun god Apollo and

other things. I do not understand how a god can die.

But today I know the whole truth, I'm adopted. A

whole world I just knew at that moment.

“How can you be god of the dead Hades?” He

asked a girl with glasses and a mark with a symbol

of a bunch of grapes in the neck. “Gods are myths,

they do not really exist”

“Fold your tongue-little pest, if I could afford I

would send you to the Tartarus right now, but I'm

Hades and I'm only here to avoid the death of

thousands of people like you he” spoke with a face

pretty. “The 336-Hours and as the Olympics,

spectators and will also bet some of you have

prepared a long time while others did not know his

past.”

A flurry of thoughts flooded my head and I was

not sure if it was real or a dream. I just knew that

somehow what that boy said to me was real. We

were going to die sooner or later.

Page 26: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

III

The intro video started with a banner of 336

hours, the name was written in a few funny letters.

The symbol of the 336 hours was a triangle with

the tip down with the name of the TIME 336 cut in

half, still had a globe and three wings and one in

particular covering the name.

Hi, if you are watching this and they are gods, sons

of the scum of Olympus Olympians. Every two

years a deadly competition occurs in the labyrinth

built by our viceroy. Twenty-four years was a battle

between the Olympians and their children and who

won were the demigods who threatened to destroy

the human race the only reason for the existence of

the gods.

After a year of victory primordial gods helped the

demigods to regain power, the human world never

felt anything related to it, they think it is a myth.

The Mount Olympus was destroyed and the gods

imprisoned, one of them are drawn to act as patron

every two years in 336 hours.

Twelve demigods shall go to the Labyrinth of

Chaos each with a clue how to get out of the maze,

they have two weeks out of the maze. The first three

that come out have won awards, but only the first

two won a prize money man.

Page 27: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

336 HOURS

— 27 —

Ancient monsters roam the maze in search of a soul

of a hero, twelve shall go racing maybe all will die,

because the six years we have a winner of fact, six

years no survivors.

The only rule and you can not share tracks or rest

and released into the maze, to get the tracks can

each do as you wish. Each of you already have the

track and received an instruction guide, a writer, a

magic item and a special item.

That begins 336 Hours!

The film ended up leaving some perplexed by

what others laughed and called or not. We were no

longer on the train but in a room with aspects of

ancient Greek and marble walls. At the bottom

there was an old projector and had twelve seats

marked with a different symbol, mine had the

symbol of the sun and was the last chair second

row is the row from right to left.

The train had arrived at a station deep in the

Louisiana I do not know where it was. The train

station was very similar to a luxurious Greek fairly

old building. There were portraits of Olympians

and Titans, but I do not know much about them.

Page 28: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

— 28 —

On the ceiling six images of boys and girls was

what gave prominence to the site. Once the video

ended, I remembered the six figures on the ceiling.

Hades or Gregory entered the room with a teenager

about the same size that he and the two went to the

front of the room.

“My name is Thomas Laisvent and I'm the idiot

son of the God of war, I took control and now I am

one of the six gods of modernity, and come to wish

good luck to you demigods” he then began to move

through the room. “After the change, we created

336 hours to finish the new demigods, but no

offense”

I felt an urge to kill that guy, but my brand

would not let it burn like I controlled. As soon as

Thomas called the two horses with the heads of

men. Today, I feel an idiot for not knowing that

these creatures were centaurs.

They brought a box with the logo of 336 hours

and they put on top of a stone table. Then another

centaur brought several foreign guns, brought

another small boxes with the logo of the games and

the last one brought the manuals and engravers.

Hades came up to the table with a clipboard he

gestured with his hand and then appeared a black

Page 29: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

336 HOURS

— 29 —

feather in his hand. He gestured to the centaurs to

depart and then cleared his throat.

“I will say the name of a mystical weapon or

magic item and then I'll take a symbol of the

section, the owner of the symbol out of it will feel a

burn and then you should come here to grab his gun

front, manual, toast, recorder, armor and then you

can call a relative.

“Call a family member?” Said the girl sitting in

front of me.

“You may call a family member before being

formally introduced to the other gods, titans, gods

and all our prime-wide audience” said Hades

giving the shoulders. “Shield of burnished gold that

once belonged to Ares had been with. The daughter

of Demeter.”

The girl who was in front of me stood up and

took the shield that was shaped like a knife. The

symbol of her was a strange flower I did not know

the name, but then I learned the hard way the name

of that strange flower.

"The sword blade made of mortal and heavenly

blade goes to ... The son of Ares, the bow with

arrows of gold goes to heaven and deadly ... The

daughter of Dionysus, a shield made of gold

Page 30: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

— 30 —

heavenly and deadly with his teeth and venom

fiercest dragon in the world goes to ... the son of

Apollo, "he paused and I waited.

I took a compass, a tape recorder that I'm using

to try to record the facts, a case where there was a

bonus, the manual and a full Greek armor. I could

not see the other names on the list or weapons was

directed to a room made of ancient pottery. There

were inscriptions in ancient Greek and phrases in

various languages.

I was not in a room but in a building dedicated

to Apollo the god of the sun and my father who

never Know. Inside was a very pretty girl that

attracted me a lot. She had blond hair, blue eyes

like mine and a charming smile.

“Your name must be Jefferson Ferraz son of

Apollo, my name is Emma Gority and I am his

assistant the next five hours, because after 336

hours officially begins.

“Pleasure, and the bid to speak with a relative

or something.”

“To this I will need the full address, because

you cannot leave the person you want to see is that

I came up here” she then took a blank sheet and

turned to me. “What’s your address?”

Page 31: 336 HOURS: THE LABYRINTH OF CHAOS

336 HOURS

— 31 —

I noted and witnessed her throw the paper in a

blue flame that turned into light. Soon after Emma

turned to me with his charming smile and asked:

-Do you need help or have any questions about

the 336 hours, anything I can help you.

I was thrilled and terrified at the same time, I

did not know what to ask, I did not know what

could help me. I just knew he was the son of

Apollo and he was stuck somewhere waiting for

help from someone.

IV

I nearly died of fright when I saw the Harpy

had found in the school bathroom. It was more

frightening than before, before I tried to do

something Emma came up to me and spoke softly

in my ear.

“She and her guardian, she cared for you while

you were revealed so treat it well or it can eat you

alive.

“I wanted to see his face for the last time the

son of Apollo, I know that the chances of survival

are slim, yet he wanted to see his face so tasty and

give me hungry” she said putting a large tongue

out. “I will not bother, tartar until my boy”

Lisa came to my room crying, she had been

born by a woman with her wings being different

from the Harpies. Lisa looked into my room and

then looked at me with a Greco-Roman armor and

then gave me a hug.

“I can’t help you at school and find that you

and a demigod or who knows what”

She told me that the woman who had taken

everything said about 336 hours and told that I was

the son of Apollo. She did not believe in anything,

but still cried.

“I'll be fine, I'll try to stay alive my sister, I do

not quite know what this was all happening so fast,

said trying to hold back the tears”

It is important for me not to cry what nerds will

think if they see me crying. They will laugh and I'll

have to break their face many times and I think

that's wrong, but the guilt and theirs.

“I hope for you that god or gods or whatever to

protect you my love, my brother” Lisa said giving

me a kiss on the cheek.

The woman who had brought the entered the

room and I recognized a picture of the last lesson of

history. Since this business brand in the neck since

I started and saw the symbol of my neck in one of

the slides I started paying more attention to the

lessons of history that have not been many. That

woman was Eris the goddess of discord.

She almost pulled my sister's room and then I

heard screams and then a silence echoed through

the room that reeked of mildew. I thought it would

all work when I felt a stab in my back.

Someone was trying to kill me.
