Ladies of Philoptochos Society

His Eminence Metropolitan Sotirios will visit our community for the celebrations of Apostles Peter and Paul, our Church’s name date.

There will be Vespers on Sunday June 28th at 7:00 p.m. A Social will follow at the Community Hall.

On Monday June 29th, we will hold a Celebratory Divine Liturgy officiated by his Eminence Metropolitan Sotirios, at 9:00 a.m. Following the Divine Liturgy we will meet at the Community Hall, where the Ladies of the Philoptochos Society will serve lunch.

Let’s all meet at the church of our Patron Saint St. Paul and offer our honor, love, the faith, and humbly ask for His blessings, now and always.

Let’s All Ring The Bells Of Our Church And Make It Shine For The Glory Of God.

Ladies of Philoptochos Society meeting

The next Philoptochos meeting will be on June 15th at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Hall.

This is the last meeting before the summer break. Our Potluck Dinner will follow immediately after the meeting. Everyone can bring whatever food they like as long as it is Lenten (nistisimo).

Mosaic 2015 is almost upon us and we need your help! If you can give an

hour or two of your time, we would appreciate it immensely! We have a

great community full of wonderful people who help out each year. Please

to help out on June 4th, 5th, and 6th.

Please note that the Food Line and Coffee and Dessert Line desperately

need volunteers and we ALWAYS need people to clean tables!

LIAGRIDONIS for being the top

student of the graduating class of 2015.

Katie has her name engraved on the

main plaque, a keeper plaque for herself,

as well as a cheque for $300. The Kodas

family is very proud of you, Katie!

ST. PAUL’S LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

The St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Community Leadership Scholarship was created to recognize

and award members of the Greek community in Regina who are currently enrolled in or

intend to pursue post-secondary education at a recognized institution in Canada or the

United States.

Two scholarships will be awarded, one for $1,000Cdn and one for $500Cdn . The award

will be applied to tuition. 2014 Scholarship candidates must complete and submit the

application no later than July 15 t h, 2015 .

The package that contains the criteria, detailed procedure information and the application

form are available at the Church (on the bulletin board) or from Effie Makris.
