Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees

• No restriction in disciplines

• Delivered by an international HEI consortium from Programme Countries and

(if relevant) Partner Countries

• Award of fully recognised and accredited joint / multiple(double) Erasmus Mundus

Master degrees

• Four (4) consecutive student intakes - covered by one Grant Agreement

• Duration of each intake 12 – 18 – 24 months (60 – 90 – 120 ECTS credits)

• Mandatory study period in at least two (2) different Programme Countries

(no virtual mobility)

• Minimum required involvement of invited scholars/guest lecturers in each intake

Taking part as an individual

EMJMD scholarship holders:

must sign a student agreement with the EMJMD consortium

must have a first higher education degree or equivalent

must not have received an Erasmus Mundus Master Course and/or

Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate scholarship/fellowship in the past

can submit a scholarship application to maximum three EMJMD

programmes
