Principles of Electrical Dust Collector

Electrical dust collector consists of ionizer, collectorelectrode, and after filter. When high-voltage pulsatingcurrent is applied to the discharge electrode of ionizer, thevoltage arrives at the staring voltage through the saturationarea to increase the current and trigger a discharge. Thistype of discharge is called the Corona discharge and thestrong electric field around the discharge electrodeaccelerates the emission of free electrons in the gas. Theaccelerated electrons move at a fast speed to collide withother molecules or combine with other electrons to generate cations. A lot of cations and electrons are generated in this chain reaction,and this phenomenon is known as the Avalanche process. The pollutants that are electrically delivered are led to and collected at thecollection electrode by the electrical force or ion movement to capture the micro dust that is not filtered by the filter.
