Sun damage. Exposure to the sun can cause wrinkles, pigment changes and skin cancer. Sun damage can be demonstrated by comparing photos of actors before and after years of sun exposure.

Former actor and president Ronald Reagan had a sun-induced basal cell skin cancer removed.Sun burns and and even tanning booths are unhealthy and should be avoided by wearing wide-brim hats and repeated sunscreen use. Other examples of sun damage: Jack Palance, Bridget Bardot, Clint Eastwood.
Minimal Eryteme Dose (MED): Mínima dosis de UV que causa un Enrojecimiento de la piel. Un MED en UE es 200-300 J/m2.
Indice Ultravioleta (IUV): Esta obtenido como 40 veces la irradiancia que se obtiene al integrar el espectro del Sol entre 290 nm y 400 nm or la fncion eritema.
