Ο καθηγητής αρχαιολογίας τύπωσε τις παρατηρήσεις του για την Όλυνθο στην Ετήσια Έκθεση της Βρετανικής Σχολής των ετών 1914-1916 ("The annual of the British School at Athens, No XXI").Συγκεκριμένα στην σ. 11, θέλοντας να δώσει το στίγμα της πιθανής τοποθεσίας της Ολύνθου, έχει δημοσιεύσει και ένα σκαρίφημα χάρτη της περιοχής:

Ετήσια Έκθεση της Βρετανικής Σχολής των ετών 1914-1916 ("The annual of the British School at Athens, No XXI").

Actually, no Vilayets were formed in 1864, but the area of the Pashalik of Salonica and that of the Vilayet of Salonica cannot be too different in size...Selanik Vilayeti (Thessaloniki Vilayet) was
divided in three sancaks, Thessaloniki, Serres, and Drama.

92
