Drackett Products Co., Cincinnati, issued a price schedule dated Oct. 1, 1954, for its DL-1 grade of lecithin. Eleven drums or more are quoted at 12 cents per pound; 5 to 10 drums at 12V4 cents, 3 to 4 drums at 121/2 cents, and 1 to 2 drums, 13 cents, f.o.b. plant.
Eastman Chemical Products, Kings-port, Term., announced a sharp reduction in its price for isobutyraldehyde effective Nov. 1. Due to economies derived in large-scale production, the C.P. grade is now 27 1 / 2 cents per pound, drums, carloads, and 28 V2 cents, drums, l.c.l. Company also announced a new technical grade of isobutyraldehyde at following prices: tank cars, 19V2 cents per pound; drums, carloads, 2 1 1 / 2 cents; drums, l.c.l., 22V2 cents.
Chas. L. Huisking & Co., New York, issued new price as of Oct. 1954 for drugs, chemicals, alkaloids, oils, vitamins, and other raw materials for pharmaceuticals and allied industries. No changes were made in contract prices for synthetic camphor.
