Hadid Majan LLC is promoted by His Highness Sayyid Barghash Said Mohammad Al Said, who is also the Chairman of Majan Consolidated Co LLC. Barghash Said Mohammad Al Said is a person of repute and well respected in the society. This company bears ample testimony of its Chairman’s vision of participating in the industrial development and progress of Sultanate of Oman. The factory is located in

Rusayl Industrial Estate and commenced commercial production in 2003. It’s a

hot rolling mill and uses steel billets as raw material. In par with the

technology development, the company also does

up gradation of its products time to

time. Hence in

the market there is a sustained acceptance of it’s Reinforcing Bars which is branded as M S B S. Presently the products are conforming to the Grade B500B as per the latest BS 4449:2005 standard and also having CARES approval. Products as per the other standards like ASTM and SASO are also available against the customer requirement. Quality of the steel bars is assured by stringent inspection and testing methods with sophisticated machines. It is manned by a thoroughbred team of Engineers , skilled workers and allied professionals.

The newly installed Automatic and Continuous Rolling Mill of capacity 150000 TPY produces QST Bars of various sizes from 8mm to 32mm.

Sultanate of Oman is one of the fast growing economies of the Middle East. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said’s foresight and vision has lead to a steady development of business and industry in the Sultanate. The emphasis given by His Majesty to develop industry in the private sector is amply illustrated by the special supports and privileges offered to the private sector.

In accordance with His Majesty’s plans, the Government has set up industrial estates all over the country with ultra modern facilities. 8th February is Oman’s Industry day since

1991 in reminiscence of the visit of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to Rusayl Industrial Estate, the first Industrial Estate of the Sultanate. It is more than just a symbol of commitment by the government to industrial growth. Now there are several major industries in the country in petrochemical as well as other sectors like metal industries.

Omani promoters of Hadid Majan LLC have also gone in making use of these facilities to manufacturer steel bars required for the construction industry, which is the most flourishing industry in the Gulf after oil.

All the sizes have been approved by the Directorate General for Specifications and Measurements, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Sultanate of Oman. The international certification authority UK CARES also approved our rebars.

¦ MAJAN STEEL BARS are made directly from pure Steel Billets. ¦ Steel Billets have been taken from the standard manufacturers as per UK CARES norms.

Billets are issued for Rebar production only after certification by the QC Department. ¦ Controlled Chemistry of the Billets and supervision of the Rolling Process by the expert

Engineers help us to get the consistent quality for our Rebars. ¦ The controlled Quenching and Self Tempering Process ( QST ) provides the bars an

optimum combination of High Strength and Ductility. ¦ Computerized Numeric Controlled ( CNC ) Rib Cutting Machines are used to make the

uniform and adequate Transverse Ribs on the Rebars. This ensures better Bonding of steel with concrete which enhances the strength of construction.

¦ Good results in Bend and Re-bend test and hence suitable for Bending works. ¦ Low Carbon Content and restricted Carbon Equivalent (CE) Value helps to get superior

weldability. ¦ High Thermal and Corrosion resistance. ¦ Earthquake Resistance is ensured by maintaining the stress ratio ( UTS /YS ) above the

required level as per the BS Standards. ¦ Quality parameters like Sectional Weight, Tensile Strength, Stress Ratio, Elongation etc

are verified regularly during the production process. Computerized Universal Testing Machines ( 400 KN and 1000 KN Capacity ) are used for the strength testing. Spectrometer of high configuration is used to ensure the chemical composition of each heat. All the laboratory documents are maintained in a traceable manner. Test Certificates are issued upon request.

Cut and Bend :

It’s a cost effective method to prepare the required steel bars for the concrete structures. ‘Cut and Bend’ is the fastest and most effective method to cater the reinforcement needs for concrete structures in any type of project. It is a type of Just In Time supply system at the construction site strictly as per the actual requirement of the projects.

Our Engineers prepare the Bar Bending Schedules and Placement Drawings from the Shop Drawings of the Civil Structures. After client’s approval the process of bar cutting and bending done on automatic Italian machines. This helps to reduce the material wastage, labour cost and also the Project Completion Period.

Hadid Majan has established a well equipped Quality Control Laboratory in order to ensure the Product Quality up to the ultimate customer satisfaction. Sophisticated testing and analytical instruments like Spectrometer with Nitrogen Analyzer , Bending Machine, Grinding & Polishing Machines, computerized UTM etc help the qualified engineers and technicians to maintain the Product Quality as per the International Standards. All our Quality Procedures are under the regular auditing of UK CARES.

Hadid Majan Bars have been approved by various authorities like PDO, MOD, Ministry of Roads & Transport, Education, Manpower, Religious and Awqaf , PAEW, ROP, MEDC etc.

The latest grade is B500B as per BS 4449:2005
