WiTh The CollaboraTion of:

dear friends and Colleagues, We are delighted to invite you to the first edition of santo-rhino Workshop, to take place in santorini is-land, in september 16th to 18th 2016. This is the first of a series of biennial sinus, rhinoplasty and endoscopic skull base surgery courses to be held on the island of santorini in Greece. We are very excited and proud to bring together some of the world leaders in the areas of rhinology, endoscopic skull base surgery and rhinoplasty as well as showcasing some extremely talented young surgeons - the next generation of future leaders in the field. We aim to combine state of the art keynote lectures with challenging round table discussions of difficult cases and debates where the audience can participate and vote, complemented with some cutting-edge short and practical “how i do it” video-lectures. The philosophy and main theme of this meeting is “networked learning“ - defined as “the process of de-veloping and maintaining connections with people and information, and communicating in such a way so as to support one another’s learning”. We hope to provide something for everyone in santorini: More junior surgeons can learn the basic “tricks of the trade” while the more experienced surgeons have a chance to fine-tune their skills and focus on the most nuanced aspects of the latest and more advanced procedures available, straight from the masters. The invited faculty consists of friends and mentors – people who have been our teachers or have rein-forced and influenced our process of learning over the years. The participants are encouraged to emulate this process - ask questions and grow by interacting with these masters in a relaxed atmosphere. Just remember: login to www.sli.do entering event code “santorini” and join the discussion. last but not least, have fun: santorini is one of our favourite places – it combines some breath-taking scenery with relics of an ancient civilization – be sure to explore! looking forward to seeing you in santo-rhino 2016!
