The great advantages of DBD plasma:

1. Less humidity sensitive, thus less plasma error.2. Plasma can be generated in all ranges of vacuum.

Resulting in the plasma being in longer contact with items to be sterilized raising efficacy.

3. Superior shelf life of the plasma generator. Replacement is every 2,400 cycles.

4. Plasma is generated outside of the sterilizing chamber which means you have over 90% usable volume of the chamber. It does not matter if your items touch the chamber wall.

5. The combination of Radical and Abatement Plasma ensure the longest lumen efficacy as well as the Abatement Plasma breaking down H2O2 to water and oxygen at the exhaust phase. Less than 1ppm of H2O2 in exhaust gas.

Single use cassettes have the advantage of supplying the exact dose required for the cycle, there are less injection errors and less waste if the cycle is aborted. Supply of sterilizing agent through a closed cassette system ensures the dose is repeatable and of the same quantity of hydrogen peroxide for every single sterilization cycle.

There are no concerns with storage or transportation as fully enclosed sterilant does not require breathing hole for transport due to the small volume contained in each cassette.

No additional boosters are required for long lumen.

Hydrogen Peroxide(H2O2) is a strong oxidizer used for sterilization. It produces reactive hydroxyl free radicals and ions that can attack m e m b r a n e l i p i ds , D N A a n d o t h e r e s s e n t i a l c e l l c o m p o n e n t s .

Sterilizing 1 The first process that performs sterilization. Sterilant is sprayed into the chamber to be excited by the plasma gas generated by the DBD. Sterilization is carried out through the processes of diffusion and surface contact.

Sterilizing 2 A second process that performs sterilization. The first sterilizing process is repeated in the chamber. Two separate cycles of Plasma Sterilization ensure sterility.

• The Manufacturer warrants the Products (except for optional items and accessories which are not covered by any warranty whatsoever) to be free from any defects workmanship, and to comply with the published specifications, for two (2) years from the date of installation at the customer's site *(the "Warranty Period").

• However "Free Warranty Period" shall not exceed 2 years and 6 month from the shipping date. All warranties are honoured in collaboration with Med-Con’s terms and conditions.

• When a machine is installed at a customer’s site, the preventative maintenance has to be performed properly according the following PM schedule provided by Renosem.

• Renosem recommends the PM1 kit and PM2 kit for the best performance of the installed machine.

• PM1 kit is used every 600 cycles• PM2 kit is used every 2,400 cycles

• Med-Con provides a qualified Service Engineer for all Warranty and PM services.

• *(PM) Preventative Maintenance is not included under the machines warranty period.
