“Organisation” is a grouping parameter – the key interest is the “Location” (against which the Resources are allocated and to which the Contact/s are assigned). Some maintenance functions for the “Contact Type” and “Contact Status” will be needed (Admin only)



Different discussion forums will exist, such as “Plastics” or “Biowaste”. A Contact can manage which Networks they belong to – in other words, two different Contacts at the same Location could belong to different Networks (though unlikely in reality). Postings onto the Network are Contact-identifiable, and have a Header and a Detail to allow for discussion threads.



Panel-based market data analytics would be available through this screen, which will allow data interrogation without revealing company-level data. Mapping of filterable data to identify individual locations within ‘n’ radius of User’s own location. Need to be careful that the company-level info is not comprehensive – i.e. Radius needs to be restricted.



Users should be able to upload documents to the “Library”, but the actual process of interpreting the meta-tags for these documents rests with the IS Team. A document is deemed relevant to a Contact if there is a match based on the Contact’s networks. Hence the documents a User sees by default are the documents deemed relevant to them. This filter can be switched off though. Searches against all documents can be made through the “Search” screen. This can also include IS Team Filenotes, but any document can be flagged as “Confidential”



This is the full sweep portal which would search through information held (in this database) on Resources, the Research documents or Network postings, or (externally) assigned websites, local drives, assigned server drives. Returns a full review of matches.
