glvacet emulsions are effective adhesives for such diverse materials as wood, paper and other cellulose products, cloth, leather, cork, metals and ceramics. They can be used as binders for paper pulp, sawdust, scrap leather, ?and, clay and other organic and inorganic molding br modelling masses. Also as replacements for rubber iatex, as shoe and leather adhesives, food packaging. Colorless durable films, useful as heat-sealing tapes, can De made by evaporation of water from the emulsions.

Elvacet emulsions can be used with simple equipment, ire readily diluted to desired concentration by addition }f water. Plasticizers, pigments, and other materials :ommonly used in adhesive, binding and coating for-nulations can be used t o modify the properties to ob-ain special effects.
