Dual Pot Sand Filter ENHANCED SOLIDS FILTRATION AND REMOVAL WITH UNPARALLELED REMOVAL EFFICIENCIES AS HIGH AS 99% OF SOLID PARTICLES > 150 μm OVERVIEW The Dual Pot Sand Filter offers a proven, compact, and simple design, which can be provided cost effectively at high- design pressures, up to 10,000 psig, and 15,000 psig as standard. The sand filter removes solid particles from well stream fluids on the downstream side of the Christmas Tree and upstream of the choke manifold. Filters can operate downstream of the wellhead desander to remove particles that might carry over from the desander under certain upset conditions. This feature helps reduce the detrimental effects of sand production, including mechanical damage and erosion to chokes, flow lines, control valves, pumps, and other equipment; and reduced equipment capacity due to reduced residence time or due to partial blockage of pipelines and high environmental discharge costs. The Dual Pot Sand Filter system includes two 100% sand filter pots, each housing a high performance filter screen. The filter screen is designed to treat flow from inside to outside with mesh sizes ranging from 100 to 400 μm. The screens are a wedge wire design for efficient backwash capability allowing minimal offline time during flushing. The sand removed is collected inside the screen in the lower part of the vessel and directed to the sand disposal system. To ensure maximum availability, the sand filter skid is complete with severe service screens and double block valves. The system design allows either sand filter to be isolated for backwashing to remove the trapped sand/debris. The filter screen can be easily accessed from the top section by using an on-skid hoist for periodic inspection or replacement. OVERVIEW

The Dual Pot Sand Filter offers a proven, compact, and simple design, which can be provided cost effectively at high-design pressures, up to 10,000 psig, and 15,000 psig as standard.
