Technava is the official representative of WinGD in Greece and Cyprus andapart from promoting WinGD engines will provide along with WinGD expertsadded value to Greek and Cypriot customers, by providing the following:

New, state of the art simulator installed in Schisto training center, for thetraining of seafarers and superintendent engineers,

Support during warranty period,

The new state of the art Training Centre with W-Xpert Full Mission EngineRoom Simulator already installed at TECHNAVA premises in Schisto IndustrialPark.

This new W-Xpert Full Mission Simulator (FMS) installation is part of theWinGD global network of training centres with other two installed worldwide,in Shanghai (China) and Pusan (Korea) in 2017, and is a next step to themodern, high-fidelity and time efficient training, allowing exercises andcoordination in several locations of a Virtual Engine Room.

The W-Xpert Engine Room Simulator is a simulation software whichintroduces Operators to WinGD 2-stroke engines in an efficient, intuitive,attractive and easy to learn way.

The simulator is designed for training marine engineers, technical staff ofOwners and Operators, as well as students of maritime schools and academiesand is a next step to the modern, high-fidelity and time efficient training,allowing exercises and coordination in several locations of a Virtual EngineRoom.

The W-Xpert simulator complies with the STCW (Standards of Training,Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) 2010 Convention, with laterManila amendments and has been approved by Classification Societies forofficial marine engineers training and assessment of their competencies on alllevels.

Training programmes at the WinGD Training Centre represent a valuableinvestment. With a deeper understanding of the product and its appliedtechnologies, engine operators will be able to enhance the performance ofthe engine by increasing its efficiency and reliability, by reducing maintenancecosts, and lowering emission levels.

To date, the range of engines which can be simulated by the W-Xpertsoftware comprises the X35, X62, and X72 models the WinGD X-generation ofdiesel engines, as well as the RT-flex50DF dual-fuel engine models. In duetime, the X82 and X92 will be added, followed in quick succession by moredual-fuel engine software versions.

W-Xpert engine simulation software developed by Unitest Marine Simulators, employs high-fidelity simulations of engine thermodynamics and performance based on mathematical modelsand calibrated on actual engines shop test results, which in combination with a multi-touchscreen3D hardware system creates a multi-interface, virtual environment which includes not only themain engine but also all the auxiliary systems of a typical engine room to enable a team toexperience a wide range of routine and distress conditions simulations.

Resulting from simulations: actual load point, cylinder pressures, fuel consumption, emissionsand even the Turbocharger surging margin are visualized on comprehensive graphs.
