In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful1. Alif. Lam. Mim. Ra.These are the verses ofthe Book. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, but most of the people do not believe.

‘, ys ø9$# £⎯ Å3≈s9 uρ u sY ò2 r& Ĩ$ ¨Ζ9 $# Ÿωtβθ ãΖ ÏΒ÷σ ム∩⊇∪

2. Allah is He who raised the heavens without (any)pillars that you can see, thenHe established upon the Throne. And He has subjected the sun and themoon. Each running for a term appointed. He arrangesmatter. He details the revelations, that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.

ĸ ö yèø9 $# ( t ¤‚ y™ uρ }§ ôϑ ¤±9 $#

t yϑ s)ø9 $#uρ ( @≅ä. “Ì øg s† 9≅ y_L{‘ wΚ |¡•Β 4 ã În/ y‰ãƒ t øΒ F{$# ã≅Å_Á xãƒÏM≈tƒ Fψ $# Ν ä3= yè s9 Ï™ !$ s)Î= Î/ öΝä3În/ u‘

3. And He it is who spread the earth, and placedtherein firm mountains and flowing streams. And ofevery kind of fruits, Hehas made in them twopairs. He covers the nightwith the day. Indeed, in these are sure signs for apeople who reflect.

uθ èδ uρ “Ï% ©!$# £‰ tΒ uÚ ö‘ F{$# Ÿ≅ yè y_ uρ$ pκÏù z© Å›≡ uρ u‘ #\≈ pκ ÷Ξ r& uρ ( ⎯ ÏΒ uρ Èe≅ ä.

ÏN≡t yϑ ¨V9 $# Ÿ≅ yè y_ $ pκÏù È⎦÷⎫ y ÷ρ y—

È⎦÷⎫ uΖ øO $# ( ©Å´øóムŸ≅øŠ ©9 $# u‘$ pκ]9 $# 4 ¨βÎ) ’Îû

y7 Ï9≡ sŒ ;M≈tƒ Uψ 5Θöθ s) Ïj9 tβρ ã ©3 x tG tƒ∩⊂∪

4. And in the earth are neighboring tracts, andgardens of grapevines, andcrop, and date palms, some growing in clusters from one root, and others alone on one root, which are watered with one water. AndWe have made to excel some of them over othersin (quality of) fruits. Indeed, in these are sure signs for a people who understand.

4’ s+ó¡ ç„ &™ !$ yϑ Î/ 7‰Ïn≡uρ ã≅ÅeÒ x çΡ uρ$ pκ |Õ ÷èt/ 4† n? tã <Ù ÷è t/ ’Îû

È≅à2 W{$# 4 ¨βÎ) ’ Îû šÏ9≡sŒ ;M≈ tƒ Uψ5Θ öθ s)Ïj9 šχθ è=É)÷è tƒ ∩⊆∪

5. And if you (O Muhammad) wonder, then wondrous is their saying: “When we are dust, shall we

* βÎ) uρ ó= yf÷è s? Ò= yf yè sù öΝ çλ é; öθ s%# sŒÏ™ r& $ ¨Ζ ä. $ ¹/≡t è? $ ¯Ρ Ï™ r& ’Å∀ s9 9, ù= yz

indeed be (raised) in a new creation.” They are those who disbelieved in their Lord, and they shall have shackles upon their necks.And they are the dwellers of the Fire, wherein they will abide forever.

Í‘$ ¨Ζ9$# ( öΝèδ $ pκÏù tβρ à$ Î#≈ yz ∩∈∪

6. And they ask you to hasten the evil before the good, while indeed exemplary(punishments) have occurredbefore them. And indeed,your Lord is full of forgiveness for mankind despite their wrongdoing. And indeed, your Lord is (also) severe in retribution.

y7 tΡθ è= Éf÷è tG ó¡ o„ uρ Ïπ y∞ ÍhŠ¡¡9 $$ Î/ Ÿ≅ ö6 s%Ïπ uΖ |¡ ysø9 $# ô‰ s% uρ ôM n= yz ⎯ ÏΒ ÞΟ Îγ Î= ö6 s%àM≈n= èV yϑ ø9 $# 3 ¨β Î) uρ y7 −/ u‘ ρ ä% s! ;ο t Ïøó tΒ

Ĩ$ ¨Ζ=Ïj9 4’ n? tã óΟ Îγ ÏΗ ø>àß ( ¨βÎ) uρ š−/ u‘

7. And those who disbelieve say: “Why is not sent downupon him a sign from his Lord.” You are only a warner, and for every peoplethere is a guide.

ãΑθ à) tƒ uρ t⎦⎪Ï% ©!$# (#ρ ã x x. Iω öθ s9 tΑ Ì“Ρé&Ïμ ø‹ n= tã ×π tƒ# u™ ⎯ ÏiΒ ÿ⎯ ÏμÎn/§‘ 3 !$ yϑ ¯ΡÎ) |MΡr&

Ö‘ É‹Ζ ãΒ ( Èe≅ä3 Ï9 uρ BΘöθ s% >Š$ yδ ∩∠∪

8. Allah knows what every female carries and by how much the wombs fall short(of their time) and what they

ª! $# ãΝ n= ÷è tƒ $ tΒ ã≅Ïϑ øt rB ‘≅à2 4© s\Ρé&$ tΒ uρ âÙ‹Éó s? ãΠ$ ym ö‘F{$# $ tΒ uρ ߊ# yŠ÷“ s? (

may exceed. And every thingwith Him is in (due)proportion.

9. All Knower of the unseenand the seen, the Most Great,the High Exalted.

ÉΑ$ yè tF ßϑ ø9 $# ∩®∪

10. It is the same (to Him)whether any one of youconceal his speech, or any one openly declare it, andwhether one who is hiddenby night or goes forth freely by day.

∩⊇⊃∪

11. For him (each person),there are (angels) in succession, before him andbehind him, they guard himby the command of Allah. Indeed, Allah does notchange the condition of a people until they change that which is in themselves. Andwhen Allah intends to a people something ill, no one can avert it, nor do they havebesides Him any defender.

12. He it is who shows you the lightning as a fear and a hope, and He raises the heavy clouds.

uθ èδ “Ï% ©!$# ãΝ à6ƒ Ì ãƒ šX ÷ y9 ø9 $#

$ ]ùöθ yz $ Yè yϑ sÛ uρ à⋅Å´ΨムuρšU$ ys¡¡9 $# tΑ$ s) ÏoW9 $# ∩⊇⊄∪

13. And the thunderglorifies His praise and(so do) the angels fromfear of Him. And Hesends the thunderbolts thentherewith He strikes whom He wills, while they dispute about Allah, and He is severe in assault.

öΝèδ uρ šχθ ä9ω≈pg ä† ’Îû «! $# uθ èδuρ߉ƒ ω x© ÉΑ$ ys ÎR ùQ $# ∩⊇⊂∪

14. For Him is thesupplication of truth. Andthose they call upon besides Him do not respond to thema thing, except as one who stretches forth his handtoward water that it may come unto his mouth, and it will never reach it. And the prayers of the disbelievers isnothing but in error.

4 $ tΒ uρ â™ !% tæ ߊ t⎦⎪Í Ï≈s3 ø9 $# ω Î) ’Îû

9≅≈ n= |Ê ∩⊇⊆∪

15. And to Allah falls in prostration whoever is in the ¬! uρ ߉ àfó¡ o„ ⎯ tΒ ’Îû ÏN≡uθ≈yϑ ¡¡9 $#

heavens and the earth, willingly and by compulsion,and (so do) their shadows in the morning and the evening.AsSajda

ÇÚ ö‘ F{ $# uρ $ Yã öθ sÛ $ \δö x. uρ Νßγ è=≈ n= Ïß uρÍiρ ߉äóø9 $$ Î/ ÉΑ$ |¹Fψ $# uρ ) ∩⊇∈∪

16. Say (O Muhammad):“Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth.”Say: “(It is) Allah.” Say: “Have you then takenother than Him as protectors. They have nopower to benefit, nor to harm for themselves.” Say: “Can the blind man and the one who sees be deemed equals, or are the darkness and light equivalent.” Or do they assign to Allah partners who created the like of His creation so that the creation(of each) seemed alike to them. Say: “Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Prevailing.”

⎯ ÏiΒ ÿ⎯ Ïμ ÏΡρ ߊ u™ !$ uŠ Ï9÷ρ r& Ÿω tβθ ä3Î= ôϑ tƒöΝÎγ Å¡ àΡ L{ $ Yèø tΡ Ÿω uρ #u ŸÑ 4 ö≅è%

È≅è% ª! $# ß, Î=≈ yz Èe≅ä. &™ ó©x« uθ èδ uρ߉Ïn≡uθ ø9 $# ã≈£γ s) ø9$# ∩⊇∉∪

17. He sends down water from the sky, so that valleys flow according to their measure, then the flood

tΑ t“Ρr& š∅ ÏΒ Ï™!$ yϑ ¡¡9 $# [™ !$ tΒôM s9$ |¡ sù 8π tƒ ÏŠ÷ρ r& $ yδÍ‘ y‰s) Î/

carries away the foam that mounts up to the surface.And (also) from that (ore)which they heat in the firedesiring ornaments or utensils, (rises) a foam like it.Thus does Allah (by parables) show forth truthand falsehood. Then, as for the foam, it passes away as scum upon the banks, while, as for that which is of use to mankind, it remains on the earth. Thus Allah sets forth parables.

Ÿ≅ÏÜ≈ t7ø9 $# uρ 4 $ ¨Β r' sù ߉t/ ¨“9$# Ü= yδõ‹ uŠ sù

18. For those who respondedto (the call of) their Lord is the best (reward). And thosewho did not respond to Him, if indeed they had whateveris on the earth entirely, and with that the like thereof,they would (attempt to)ransom themselves thereby. Those will have the worstreckoning. And their refuge is Hell, and worst is the resting place.

∩⊇∇∪

19. Then is he who knows that what has been revealed unto you (O Muhammad)from your Lord is the truth, like him who is blind. Theywill only pay heed who are people of understanding.

* ⎯ yϑ sù r& ÞΟ n= ÷ètƒ !$ yϑ ¯Ρ r& tΑ Ì“Ρé& y7ø‹ s9 Î)⎯ ÏΒ y7 Îi/¢‘ ‘, ptø:$# ô⎯ yϑ x. uθ èδ #‘ yϑ ôã r& 4

$ oÿ©ςÎ) ã ©.x‹ tG tƒ (#θ ä9 'ρ é& É=≈t6 ø9 F{$# ∩⊇®∪

20. Those who fulfill the covenant of Allah and do not break the treaty.

t⎦⎪ Ï%©! $# tβθ èùθ ムωôγ yèÎ/ «! $# Ÿω uρtβθ àÒà)Ζ tƒ t,≈ sWŠÏϑ ø9 $# ∩⊄⊃∪

21. And those who jointhat with which Allah has commanded to be joined,and fear their Lord, anddread the terrible reckoning.

β r& Ÿ≅ |¹θ ムšχ öθ t±øƒ s† uρ öΝåκ ®5 u‘

tβθ èù$ sƒs† uρ u™ þθ ß™ É>$ |¡Ïtø: $# ∩⊄⊇∪

22. And those who are patient, seeking the countenance of their Lord,and establish prayer, andspend of that which We have provided them secretlyand openly, and who ward off evil with good. Those shallhave the ultimate abode.

šχρ â™ u‘ ô‰ tƒ uρ Ïπ oΨ |¡ ptø: $$ Î/ sπ y∞ÍhŠ ¡¡9 $#

y7 Í×≈ s9 'ρ é& öΝçλ m; © t< ø)ãã Í‘#¤$!$# ∩⊄⊄∪

23. Gardens of Eden which they shall enter, and (also) àM≈Ζ y_ 5β ô‰tã $ pκ tΞθ è= äzô‰tƒ ⎯ tΒ uρ

those who acted righteously from among their fathers, and their wives, and their offspring. And angels shall enter unto them from every gate.

yx n= |¹ ô⎯ ÏΒ öΝÍκ É″ !$ t/#u™ öΝ ÎγÅ_≡uρ ø— r& uρöΝÍκ ÉJ≈−ƒ Íh‘ èŒuρ ( èπ s3 Í× ¯≈ n= yϑ ø9 $#uρ tβθ è= äzô‰ tƒ

ΝÍκ ö n= tã ⎯ ÏiΒ Èe≅ ä. 5>$ t/ ∩⊄⊂∪

24. (Saying): “Peace be uponyou for that you perseveredin patience. And excellent is the final abode.”

íΝ≈n= y™ / ä3ø‹ n= tæ $ yϑ Î/ ÷Λ än÷ y9 |¹ 4 zΝ÷è ÏΨsù

25. And those who breakthe covenant of Allah after firmly confirming it, and sever that which Allah has commanded that it should be joined, and spread corruption in the land.Those are, on them is the curse, and for them is theill abode.

t⎦⎪Ï%©! $# uρ tβθ àÒ à)Ζ tƒ y‰ ôγ tã «! $# .⎯ÏΒω÷è t/ ⎯ Ïμ É)≈ sV‹ÏΒ šχθ ãè sÜø) tƒ uρ !$ tΒ

t tΒ r& ª! $# ÿ⎯ Ïμ Î/ β r& Ÿ≅ |¹θ ãƒtβρ ߉šøムuρ ’Îû ÇÚ ö‘ F{$#   y7Í× ¯≈ s9 'ρ é&

ãΝßγ s9 èπ oΨ÷è=9 $# öΝçλ m; uρ â™ þθß™ Í‘#¤$!$# ∩⊄∈∪

26. Allah increases the provision for whom He wills, and straitens (itfor whom He wills), andthey rejoice in the life ofthe world. While the life ofthe world is not, as compared with the Hereafter, except (a brief) enjoyment.

ª! $# äÝ Ý¡ö6 tƒ s− ø—Îh9 $# ⎯ yϑ Ï9 â™!$ t± o„①ωø) tƒ uρ 4 (#θ ãmÌ sù uρ Íο4θ u‹ ysø9 $$ Î/

$ u‹÷Ρ ‘‰9 $# $ tΒ uρ äο4θ u‹ ys ø9 $# $ u‹ ÷Ρ‘‰9 $# ’Îû

Íο t ÅzFψ$# ω Î) Óì≈ tF tΒ ∩⊄∉∪

27. And those who disbelieve say: “Why is not a sign sentdown to him (Muhammad)from his Lord.” Say: “Indeed, Allah sends astraywhom He wills, and guidesunto Himself whoever turns to Him.”

ãΑθ à) tƒ uρ t⎦⎪Ï% ©!$# (#ρ ã x x. Iω öθ s9 tΑ Ì“Ρé&Ïμ ø‹ n= tã ×π tƒ# u™ ⎯ÏiΒ ⎯ ÏμÎn/§‘ 3 ö≅ è% χ Î)

©! $# ‘≅ ÅÒ ãƒ ⎯ tΒ â™!$ t± o„ ü“ωöκ u‰ uρ Ïμ ø‹s9Î)ô⎯ tΒ z>$ tΡ r& ∩⊄∠∪

28. Those who believe and whose hearts find satisfactionin the remembrance of Allah. Behold, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.

29. Those who believe anddo righteous deeds, joy is for them, and bliss (their)journey’s end.

š⎥⎪Ï% ©! $# (#θ ãΖ tΒ# u™ (#θ è=Ïϑ tã uρÏM≈ys Î=≈¢Á9 $# 4’ n1θ èÛ óΟ ßγ s9 ß⎯ ó¡ãm uρ

30. Thus have We sent you to a nation before which(other) nations have passedon, that you might reciteunto them that which We have revealed to you, while they disbelieve in the Beneficent. Say: “He is my Lord, there is no god but

Him. In Him I put my trust and to Him is my return.”

31. And if indeed there was a Quran with which mountainscould be moved, or the earthcould be torn asunder by it, or the dead could be made to speak by it, (this Quran would have done so). But toAllah belongs the command entirely. Do not those whobelieve despair that, if Allah had willed, He would have guided mankind, all of them.And will not cease to strike,those who disbelieve, a disaster for what they have done, or it (the disaster) willsettle close to their homes,until the promise of Allah comes to pass. Indeed, Allahdoes not fail in (His) promise.

32. And indeed messengers (of Allah) were ridiculed before you, but I granted respite to those whodisbelieved, then I seized them, so how (awful) was My punishment.

∩⊂⊄∪

33. Then is He (Allah) whowatches over every soul whatit has earned (like any other).But they ascribe partners to Allah. Say: “Name them. Or you inform Him of that which He knows not on the earth, or is it a show of words.”Nay, their plotting is made fair seeming to those who disbelieve, and they have been hindered from the path. And he whom Allah sends astray, then for him, there isnot any guide.

ÉΑ öθ s) ø9$# 3 ö≅ t/ z⎯ Îiƒ ã— t⎦⎪Ï% ©#Ï9 (#ρ ã x x.öΝèδ ã õ3 tΒ (#ρ ‘‰ß¹ uρ Ç⎯ tã È≅‹Î6 ¡¡9 $# 3

⎯ tΒ uρ È≅Î= ôÒ ãƒ ª! $# $ yϑ sù … çμ s9 ô⎯ ÏΒ7Š$ yδ ∩⊂⊂∪

34. For them is a punishmentin the life of the world, and the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe. And they do not have againstAllah any protector.

35. The example of the Garden, which the righteoushave been promised, is beneath it rivers flow. Its fruit is eternal, and (so is)its shade. Such is the end of those who are righteous,

and the disbelievers’ endis the Fire.

36. And those to whom We have given the Book rejoicein that which is revealed to you. And among the factionsare those who reject part of it. Say (O Muhammad): “Iam only commanded that I worship Allah and not to join partners with Him. To Him I call, and unto Him is my return.”

37. And thus have We sent it (the Quran) down, a judgment of authority in Arabic. And if you were to follow their desires after that which has come to you of the knowledge, you will not haveagainst Allah any protector,nor a defender.

38. And indeed We sentmessengers before you, and We made for them wives andoffspring. And it was not(given) to (any) messenger that he should bring a sign

ô‰ s) s9 uρ $ uΖù= y™ ö‘ r& Wξß™ â‘ ⎯ÏiΒ y7Î= ö6 s%$ uΖù= yè y_uρ öΝ çλ m; % [`≡uρ ø— r& Zπ −ƒÍh‘ èŒ uρ 4 $ tΒ uρ

except by the command ofAllah. For every term there is a decree.

39. Allah eliminates what He wills, and establishes (what He wills), and with Him is the Mother of the Book.

40. And whether We show you (O Muhammad) part ofwhat We have promised them, or We cause you to die,then upon you is only to convey (the message), and upon Us is the reckoning.

∩⊆⊃∪

41. Do they not see that Weare advancing in the land (in their control), diminishing it from its outlying borders.And Allah commands, thereis none to put back His command. And He is swift in calling to account.

öΝ s9 uρ r& (#÷ρ t tƒ $ ¯Ρ r& ’ÎA ù' tΡ uÚ ö‘ F{$#

42. And indeed, those who were before them did devise plots, but to Allah belongs the plan entirely. He knows whatevery soul earns. And the

disbelievers will know for whom will be the final home.

43. And those who disbelievesay: “You are not a Messenger.” Say (O Muhammad): “Sufficient isAllah as a witness between me and you, and those with whom is the knowledge of the Book.”
