Παρουσίαση του Millenium Foundation Kosovo σχετικά με τις ευκαιρίες για συμμετοχή επιχειρήσεων σε διαγωνισμούς προμηθειών

σε τομείς όπως ενέργεια και χρηστή διακυβέρνηση

Το Εμπορικό και Βιομηχανικό Επιμελητήριο Αθηνών ενημερώνει τα μέλη του και

κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο για τα προγράμματα του ιδρύματος Millennium Foundation

Kosovo και τις ευκαιρίες συμμετοχής σε διαγωνισμούς προμηθειών στην περιοχή

του Κόσοβου, οι οποίες θα μπορούσαν να ενδιαφέρουν και τις ελληνικές

επιχειρήσεις.

Συγκεκριμένα, σύμφωνα με έγγραφο της Β8 Διεύθυνσης Επιχειρηματικής Ανάπτυξης

του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών, τα δύο βασικότερα προγράμματα του εν λόγω

Ιδρύματος, το οποίο εκπροσωπεί το αμερικανικό ίδρυμα Millennium Challenge

Corporation, αφορούν τον κλάδο της ενέργειας με το Πρόγραμμα Φερέγγυο

Ενεργειακό Τοπίο (Reliable Energy Landscape Project) και τον κλάδο της χρηστής

διακυβέρνησης με το Έργο Διαφανής και Υπεύθυνη Διακυβέρνηση (Transparent and

Accountable Governance Project). Συνημμένα, η σχετική παρουσίαση των

προγραμμάτων του Ιδρύματος.

Millennium Foundation Kosovo is the legal entity established by the power of the

Threshold Agreement signed and ratified in 2017, between Kosovo and US

governments.

The Board of Directors consist of seven members: 4 ex officio members of Kosovo

institutions; 2 representatives of civil society and 1 representative of private sector.

It has total of 20 staff and will be headquartered in the old OSCE building, Ljubljana

Bank at Luan Haradinaj Street.

Labor Force and Time Use Survey

Motivation

The Labor Force and Time Use Survey (LFTUS) was designed to answer several research questionsconcerning:

1. labor force participation2. job seeking behavior3. time use4. household decision-making,5. discriminatory workplace practices6. barriers to entrepreneurship.

Given the centrality of labor force participation, the research was designed to examine therelationships between this indicator and field of study, gender norms, and remittances.
