Siemens AE 110 years of growing Siemens activity in Greece
1900 - First Representative Office of Siemens Group in Greece.
1931 - The Hellenic Telephone Company is established and operated with Siemens funds.
In 1949, this company is transferred to the Greek State and today is known as OTE,
Greece’s main telecommunications provider.
1938 - OSRAM A.E. assumes the majority of shares in the Hellenic Lightbulb Industry A.E.
1939 - Establishment of Siemens A.E. in Athens.
1976 - Siemens AE & Bosch-Siemens Home Appliances GmbH aqu. majority of Pitsos AE
2000 - Establishment of Siemens AE offices in Albania, FYROMacedonia & Cyprus
