When I say the word Scientist, what comes to mind, does someone with a PhD. come to mind? This is what most, if not all of the United States may think, well I am here to tell you there are Civilians, working as Scientist who Do Not have a Degree.

Right now you are More than Likely asking the question, how is this possible, aren’t the average people on the street, a half-wit or no wit. Well the U.S. Government, Universities, Private Industry, National Home Gardening

Club, University Extension from across the Nation, Master Gardeners, and Private Originations just to name a few are trying to tackle this problem.

All the above Entities just to list some, came together with one purpose in mind, the better good of the Environment and our world. For a little over 40 years I personally have been actively charting and taking down Observa-tions of the plants, around me both inside my home and outside.

For a little over 21 years I have been keeping records on a Lilac Bush, I have seen latterly grow from a seedling. On the other hand, I have been keep-ing track of the Pine Trees and Jonquils in my yard for nearly 27 years.

I have written several articles that have been Published in Books, and Magazines, I also have written over 16 articles online for the National Home Gardening Club. I have several Blogs, where I write about Gardening on my own. This is where the Scientist Part comes in to the picture; I have studied Botany on my own, striving to be a better gardener.

I learned when I was 5 how to keep records on plants, I started to write down all I did with My houseplants, well I claimed the plants, they really were my Mom’s and Dad’s plants.

This year I made it, because I was recommended by my Pears and nom-inated by them to join the Federal, and Private organization called Project Bud Burst, where we chart plants, and keep important data on them.

The data includes but not limited to, when the plant buds, when the plant’s first leaf starts to open and unfold. When the first true leafs, appear, for the season, and fully opened, how long it was before the first flower bud appeared. When did the first flower bud opened, how long did it bloom. When did first Fruit or seed Pods appear, did plant leaves start to lose their color, when did the leaves peak in color. When did the plant start to lose its leaves? When did the plant past the ½ mark of losing its leaves. When did the plant totally lose its leaves, how long was it from beginning to end of leaf drop.

Why is this information so important to the Government, Private Indus-try, and Private Citizens? This is simple, the data being collected and com-piled far into the Next century, is vital to research.

Why is this information so vital to researchers, to say something is hap-pening to the plants and our environment, and have data backing up what you say are two different things entirely. All this is happening, so the Scientist, (people with Doctorate Degrees), can prove one way or the other if Global Warming, Pollution like acid Rain or, or what I call Pollutant Fallout from out Atmosphere, is really happening.

I have been involved in this Kind of Project for the past 30 years, when I was in school I joined a Civilian group that went around and did this exact kind of thing I now am doing for Project Bud Burst.

I will not go as far as some people and say they are an expert, because if you do this you are a fool. Reason for this there always is someone who is a lot better than you may think you are. If one thinks they are an Expert, chances are they are not.

People do not realize when they go outdoors and in to the Environment, and abuse their Environment, they are making a negative impact on the Envi-ronment, and World.

One example of this is Global Warming, for more than 1000 years man has put their Pollution and Toxins into the Atmosphere. What Man Refused to realize, is that everything they did was affecting the quality of the food they could raise.

Give you an example in the Plant Records, (trees their rings) and Focal-ized Plant materials left behind, for one reason or another. These Materials trapped CO2 and CO2 levels in them, giving Man a perfect study Materials.

Just one of the problems listed above can wipe out a food crop, com-pound it by all of the listed above problems. Here is the down side to the coin, if one looks to all the other planets in our Solar System, you will see what is hot will get Hotter, and what is cold will get colder in the winter time, so we are talking nearly Absolute Zero, and Plus 100 to 1000 degrees all on the same planet. So if one lives in a Hotter climate it will just get hotter much hotter, and if one lives in a colder climate it will get much more colder, this is a Scien-tific Fact, and one of the Laws of the Universe.

So if the lack of food, and pollution, do not get us, excessive heat or ex-cessive cold will, depending upon the location of where one lives in the world. The time is now to act, not letting it be someone else’s problem, it is our prob-lem here and now today. Diseases will also increase for Plants, Animals, and Mankind, by land, air, sea or water, affecting all who inhabit the Earth.

This is my second official Alpha Two Omega Gardening, and Garden-ing Man Report, and this will not be the last one.
