RAN-EZ-SPL _____________________________________________________________________________________ Application

RAN-EZ-SPL is based on liquid alpha amylase which is not genetically modified.

Excellent performance capability at application temperatures ranging from 40–80°C to be used for

desizing fabrics and garments sized with starch and starch derivatives.

Recommended use

Wetting agents, detergents, scouring agents, or solvent scours can be used with all applications on

RAN-EZ-SPL enzyme to enhance penetration and size swelling, along with assisting in the removal of

waxes, soils, and synthetic sizing materials.

Typically non-ionic surfactants are suitable for combination with enzymes whereas anionic and

cationic surfactants may disrupt enzyme activity.

Lubricants are generally recommended to be used in combination with amylase enzymes during

desizing to reduce the formation of crease marks and streaks. The addition of lubricants is especially

recommended when desizing in rotary washers, in jet dye machines, or in preparation for denim

washing.

Whenever auxiliary chemicals are used in conjunction with desizing enzymes, check to ensure that

the auxiliaries are compatible with the enzyme.

Storage

To ensure extended shelf life, store RAN-EZ enzyme at 25OC (77OF) or below. Prolonged storage

above 30OC (86 OF) should be avoided.

Inhalation of enzyme to be avoided.
