Addendum No. 1 Replace Classroom Unit Ventilators

Prebid Meeting Notes:

1. Sign-in list attached. 2. Joan Smith, Director of UTC, advised the school is now within Clarksburg city limits and

paying B&O tax will be required. 3. I advised that attendance at the prebid will be mandatory. 4. Joan advised that the school will be available for work from 6 AM to 9 PM 5. It was confirmed that sealed bids will be delivered to Joan’s office. 6. Bid opening is set for 1:30 PM, September 11, at UTC. 7. Adherence to SBA requirements was discussed and confirmed. 8. It was agreed that the Owner will move users of the classroom to another location while

work is being performed. 9. It was agreed that delivery time for the HVAC units may require adjustment of the

contract time. 10. Attendee requested clarification of whether performance bond will be required. Bidders

are directed to SBA Supplemental Conditions which states conditions under which a performance bond is required.

Addenda items

1. Owner does not choose to retain ownership of existing refrigerant in old units. 2. Outdoor units shall be straight AC units instead of heat pumps, Trane Model

4TTA03042. 3. Existing ground mounted concrete pads may be used if sufficiently large. 4. Cutting of roof for condensing unit supports will not be required.
