The New LINDBERG 2-STATION "H-F" Combustion Unit is the most flexible apparatus of its kind. So versa­tile that only one operator can make either volumetric or gravimetric carbon and direct combustion sulphur de­terminations intermittently with equally excellent results.

LINDBERG 2-station design permits "Double-Quick" carbon and sulphur determinations . . . no stopping to disconnect, rearrange and connect apparatus.

YOU CAN MAKE "DOUBLE-QUICK" CARBON AND SULPHUR DETERMINATIONS WITH "DOUBLE-QUICK" IGNITION OF IRON-STEEL SAMPLES Only 57 second warm-up . . . not 2 or 3 hours as with conventional pre-heat resistance element furnaces . . . over 3000° F. temperatures supplied alternately to both stations by stable radio frequency generator by thor­oughly stable electronic circuit.

LINDBERG 2-STATION METHOD EXTREMELY EFFICIENT

Ignition temperatures reached almost instantly . . . high frequency current surges around transparent combustion tube, direct to iron and steel samples . . . temperatures not limited by heating elements. Complete combustion of cast irons, steel, stainless steel and heat resisting alloys and melting of titanium, zirconium (with ingot iron added) and nickel in a flow of oxygen is easily reached.

THE LABORATORY PROVEN LINDBERG VOLUMETRIC CARBON DETERMINATOR Approved and acclaimed by leading laboratories for its speed, accuracy and distinctive appearance . . . water jacketed buret graduated for accuracy to within one point or better and illuminated by fluorescent light for easy readings.

Efficient design of absorption pipet permits complete absorption in one or two passes . . . sidearm design of leveling bottle provides easier meniscus readings. Quick zero readings easily obtained by adjustable leveling bot­tle support and gas temperature is obtained from centi­grade thermometer in buret jacket. Sulphur trap pro­vided in intake line... Pyrex glassware is used throughout .. .stand is attractively finished in sparkling-gray enamel.
