Graphic design from the Netherlands is inter nationally known and widely celebrated as highly innovative and influential. Bolstered by a long and unique artistic tradition, Dutch graphic design is the product of many outstanding individual talents supported by an unusually receptive clientele and public. This exhibition offers a rich overview of this particular field from approximately 1890, when graphic design entered a period of major technological innova-tion, to 1990.

Η γραφιστική των Κάτω Χωρών είναι διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένη και εκτιμάται ιδιαιτέρως για την πρωτοπορία και την επιρροή που άσκησε. Προερχόμενη από μία μακρόχρονη και ξεχωριστή καλλιτεχνική παράδοση, η ολλανδική γραφιστική είναι καρπός πολλών εξαιρετικών ταλέντων, που υποστηρίχθηκαν από μία ασυνήθιστα φωτισμένη και δεκτική πελατεία και κοινό. Η έκθεση προσφέρει μία πλούσια επισκόπηση της ιστορίας της ολλανδικής γραφιστικής από το 1890 περίπου, όταν ο κλάδος εισέρχεται σε μία περίοδο σημαντικών τεχνολογικών καινοτομιών, έως το 1990.

‘Golden Age’ is a project of Premsela, Dutch Platform for Design and Fashion in collaboration with De Beyerd, Museum of Graphic Design. The exhibition is financed with the support of the Netherlands Culture Fund.

Η έκθεση ‘Golden Age’ οργανώθηκε από την Premsela, Ολλανδική Πλατφόρμα για το Ντιζάιν και τη Μόδα, σε συνεργασία με το De Beyerd, Μουσείο Γραφιστικής. Η έκθεση πραγματοποιείται με την οικονομική υποστήριξη του Ολλανδικού Ταμείου Πολιτισμού.
