DISTRICT 7610 GOVERNOR’S CITATION 2015-2016 Humanitarian Service Clubs must achieve 3 of the 4 following goals ο Have at least 1 club member attend a grant management seminar and report in Rotary Club Central ο Participate in the District “Done-In-A- Day“ food basket project 21 November 15, (minimum of 3-food baskets per club) and report in Rotary Club Central ο Have at least 1 club member attend UN day 7 November 15 ο Apply for a District Grant or partner with another district for a Global Grant New Generations Clubs must achieve 3 of the 5 following goals ο Sponsor or cosponsor a Rotaract or Interact Club ο Have at least 3 club members mentor a Rotaractor or Interactor ο Sponsor 1 student for RYLA ο Sponsor 1 student to Chesapeake Bay program. ο Sponsor 1 student in District Essay, Speech or Music competitions Public Image Clubs must achieve 2 of the 3 following goals ο Have an article published in the news- paper or an ad on the radio quarterly ο Update club website and social media using Rotary’s visual identity guidelines ο Update club brochure or newsletter using Rotary’s visual identity guidelines DISTRICT 7610 GOVERNOR’S CITATION 2015-2016 Membership Clubs must achieve 2 of the 3 following goals ο Achieve a net gain in membership of at least 1 in small clubs (less than 49 mem- bers) and at least 2 in large club (50 or more members) ο Develop and hold a formal new member orientation ο Hold a joint fellowship event with another Rotary Club Foundation Giving Clubs must achieve 3 of the 5 following goals ο Attain a minimum Annual Fund contribution of $100 per capita ο Increase the total number of Paul Harris Society members or benefactors by 1 ο A minimum of 1 Club Member to attend Rotary Foundation seminar or dinner ο Achieve minimum Polio Plus contribution of $2000 ο Achieve a minimum Rotary Peace Center Contribution of $500 or 1 or more Club members attend a Rotary Peace Center Conference Online Tool Adoption Clubs must achieve all of the following goals ο Have at least 75 percent of club members registered in My Rotary ο Insure Club Membership list is current no later than 1 Jan 2016 ο Post Club Membership Goal and Foundation Goal on Rotary Club Central by 1 July 2015 ο Post at least one initiative on Rotary Showcase ο All Officers posted in DaCdb by 1 July 2015 RI PRESIDENTIAL CITATION 2015-2016 This year’s Presidential Citation is somewhat different from previous ones. To qualify for the Presidential Citation, your clubs must complete two mandatory activities and addi- tional activities as described in each cate- gory. Some information will be verified by the information you enter in Rotary Club Central. Other activities will be verified automatically when you initiate a specific action. Unless otherwise specified, all activities must be completed between 1 Jul 2015 and 1 April 2016. Your accomplishments will be verified by Rotary International data. Remember that your hard work will enable Rotary to make a significant difference in the lives of people all over the world. To improve our capacity to accurately measure our goals, Rotary Inter- national has enhanced the tools we use to gather and analyze data. These improve- ments will allow all levels of Rotary from the clubs all the way up through the district, zone, and international levels to measure and as- sess their respective performance. ************************************ DISTRICT 7610 GOVERNOR’S CITATION 2015-2016 The District Governor’s Citation for RY2015- 16 recognizes and honors outstanding clubs within the District who not only receive a 2015 -16 Presidential Citation, but also specifically address the 2015-16 District Priorities.
