Education Passsed primary examination and stood first in the district.(1897)

Entered Town High school Kumbakonam (1898)

He joined in Government College , kumbakonam in 1904. Received Scholarship for his studies.

In 1906, he entered Pachaiyappas College of Madras and his aim was to pass the First Art Examination to study in the University of Madras.

He was good in Maths , so when he took exam he passed in Maths but failed in all other subjects.

Family In July 1909, Ramanujan was married to Janaki Ammal.To support himself and his family he started working as a clerk in the Accountant - General's office at the Madras Port Trust Office to support himself (19121913).

His WorksHe sent samples of his theorems to three academics at the University of Cambridge(19121913) .

By 1904, he investigated the series (1/n).

He calculated Euler's constant to 15 decimal places.

He developed and investigated Bernoulli numbers and the Euler Mascheroni constant independently.

Hardy recognized the brilliance of his work.

Subsequently , he invited Ramanujan to visit and work with him at Cambridge.

He finally graduated from Cambridge with a Bachelor of Science Trinity College, Cambridge

Vegetarian meals were not available.Got too busy and often forgot to eat. The cold, damp climate.Fell ill and no remedy to cure.

Finally decided to return to India .

However his health was very poor.

Despite of medical treatment, he expired the following year.
