Το άρθρο αναφέρει ότι το Ιράν πρότεινε στο Τουρκμενιστάν να αγοράζει ετησίως τουρκμενικό φυσικό αέριο αξίας 3 δισεκατομμυρίων δολαρίων, και να δίνει στο Τουρκμενιστάν Ιρανικά προϊόντα ως αντάλλαγμα.
