IBM SPSS Statistics 22 Installation Guide

Step 1

Browse the DVD and execute the file

(by right clicking it and selecting “Run as Administrator” for Windows Vista/7):

SPSS_Statistics_22_win32_.exe

(SPSS_Statistics_22_win64_.exe for 64 bit OS installations)

Step 2

Click “Next”

Step 3

Choose “Authorized user license (I purchased a single copy of the product)” and click “Next”

Step 4

Choose “I accept the terms in the license agreement” and click “Next”

Step 5

Insert the information at the appropriate fields and click “Next”

*this information is optional

Step 6

Choose the help language(s) you want for the installation and click “Next”

Step 7

Choose whether you need JAWS and click “Next”

(JAWS for Windows is screen reading software for those with visual impairments)

Step 8

Choose whether you need Essentials for Python Plug-in and click “Next”

(after this screen if you choose ‘Yes’ you will be prompted to install Python v 2.7)

Step 9

Choose the installation folder and click “Next”

Step 10

Click “Install” and wait until the installation is completed

Step 11

Unclick “Click here to register for product updates and special offer alerts. Two minutes is all it

takes!” and click “Finish”

Step 11

Automatically the “IBM SPSS Statistics 22 Licensing” window appears, choose “License my

product now” and click “Next”.

In case this window does not appear automatically, you can open it through the following route

Step 12

At the next window you enter the authorization code

(There should be an Internet Connection)

Click “Next”.

A window with green letters should appear – Click “Next”

If “Successfully processed all codes” appears, click “NEXT”, then “Finish” and you can open

IBM SPSS Statistics.

If “One or more codes failed” appears, then follow the next steps:

You must get a personal LICENSE CODE!

In order to get your personal code you should send an email at support@predicta.gr with

your authorization code and your lock code.

Lock code is different for every computer. In order to find it you go to “Start -> Run”

At the appearing window you copy-paste the command:

C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\22\echoid.exe

And click ΟΚ

Another window will open with your Lock code (looking like the one below)

Write down your Lock code, press ENTER and send an email to support@predicta.gr:

Please send my LICENSE CODE for IBM SPSS Statistics 22.

My authorization code is <authorization code>

And my Lock Code is: <the code you just wrote down> (e.g. 100-25E8F)

You will copy-paste it at the “IBM SPSS Statistics 22 Licensing” window (step 11-12)

The code must be copied with the # symbol. Open IBM SPSS Statistics 22. At the bottom right

of the window there should be a statement:

“Processor is ready”
