The PowerSpectrumTM-PSR allows for precise control of pulse
duration for chirped pulse amplification (CPA).
TeraXion’s PSRs are low loss, all-fiber, FBG based chromatic dispersion
management devices.
Used for chirped pulsed amplification in high power ultrafast lasers, it
stretches the pulse in the time domain to reduce the peak power and avoid
non-linear effects in the amplification stage. It also helps to pre-compensate
for higher orders of dispersion (β3, β4…), introduced by the grating compressor.
