The steric hindrance f rom the tertiary branching of the neo structure provides significant thermal, oxidative, and hydrolytic stability to the derivatives of neo acids including:

• Unreactive carbonyl due to steric shielding • Quaternary carbon wi th no alpha hydrogens • Unreactive secondary hydrogens • More primary hydrogens

Neo Heptanoic Acid, Neo Octanoic Acid, and Methyl Pivalate can easily be incorporated into your products offering performance benefits of the unique neo acid structure.
