Vifa Big A/V KitThe Stu dio is a small mon i tor

type speaker us ing the new VifaXT ring ra di a tor tweeter and theVifa Pre mium Line 5” woofer. A 6” pas sive ra di a tor is used onthe back to tune the en clo sureand ex tend the bass re sponse. The fre quency range is from45Hz to 20kHz with very im -pres sive bass for such a smallspeaker.

The new XT tweeter has ex cep tional clar ity and de tail, but atthe same time be ing warm and non-in tru sive. The woofer is acoated pa per cone with a new type of ter mi na tion to the rub bersur round. The woofer frame is cast mag ne sium and is op ti mized for low dis tor tion. A pa per cone woofer of fers the most nat u raland vivid midrange re pro duc tion.

The fol low ing de signs were de vel oped us ing Madi sound’s an echoic cham ber, Audio Pre ci sion meas ure ment and Leapanaly sis. All three speak ers use the Vifa M13SG09, a 13cm pa per cone, cast frame woofer. The tweeter is the D27SG05, whichis also shielded and has a 27mm textile dome. The cab i nets are no lon ger avail able, so these are truly DIY now. Ev ery thing youneed to com plete the sys tem is in cluded and the cross overs are pre-assembled.
