Blessing the Land for Lindisfarne Hall Rogation Sunday, May 21st, at 9:15 AMIt is customary on Rogation Sunday for the clergy to bless the parish boundaries and claim the lands for Christ in a ceremony called Beating the Bounds. We will Beat the Bounds of our newly acquired property and plant a cross on the site to claim it for Lindisfarne Hall to the Glory of God. Please join us as we march around the new land in this victory celebration. Recommended Resource: Lectionary Central This Canadian website has a page for the Propers (Collect and Scripture Readings for Mass) for every Sunday of the Church year together with links to important resources such as information on the rationale of the Propers, history, commentary, and sermons based on the Propers. It is a very valuable and useful resource for anyone who wants to study the Propers more closely. And although the Canadian prayer book includes minor differences from our 1928 BCP, the developers of the site always note the differences and include the American text.
