Story has been appointed vice president, marketing and re- search, for Cardinal Chemical Co., Columbia, S.C. Story began his ca- reer as a research chemist with Bell Telephone Labs. He later became professor and head of chemistry at the University of Georgia. He was also director of the Research Insti- tute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Logan O'Sullivan Story Yocum the University of Mississippi. Cardi- nal Chemical was founded and is still directed by W. M. Quattlebaum Jr., who invented the first commer- cially successful tin stabilizers for PVC. Ronald H. Yocum has joined Nor- chem Inc., Omaha, Neb., as group vice president, research and tech- nology.
