. Recommendations As expected, the language barrier continues to be an issue, not major, but causes some problems during coordination and flight. Recommend the HAF continue to use English as the primary language while flying tactical missions whenever possible to minimize communication problems in future NATO operations.

Of note When fitting the HAF pilots helmets, they are very cooperative toward the USAF LS techs, but when it was the HAF LS techs, they were prone to tell the techs how to do their job without any expertise. I believe this is a fundamental problem of respecting rank vs respecting the actual job skills. This could cause major mis-fittings and possible problems in the air with poorly adjusted helmets.

Recommendations The technicians need to be in control of the fitting process and the pilots need to be patient and give the technician the time they need to complete the fitting. , .
