• Now that Koppers has made meta-Ben-zcnedisulfonic Acid (MBDSA) readily available, it will pay you to examine its far-reaching possibilities. In practically all reactions, MBDSA reacts as a difunctional compound, readily yielding difunctional sulfonic acid derivatives.

MBDSA offers possibilities as an intermediate in preparation of dyestuffs, pharmaceuticals, leather tanning agents and photographic chemicals. Its strong acidic properties indicate value as an acid curing agent or catalyst for phenolic, urea, meia-mine and resorcinol resins.

Detailed description of MBDSA's properties, reactions and possible uses is contained in Bulletin C-9-53, prepared recently. Your copy of the bulletin and experimental samples of Koppers MBDSA will be sent on request.

Armstrong's Adhesive, for rigid materials difficult to borvd, is formulated with a combination of new thermosetting resins and inorganic filler materials. They do not shrink or swell upon hardening and serve a wide variety of applications. Available in four grades, depending upon application. Also, works wonders as a gap filling material. Physical properties are such that the glue line is often stronger than the material bonded . . . shear and tensile strengths to 4,000 p.s.i. Send for more information and trial test kit today! You'll be money ahead using Armstrong's Adhesive.
