IntroductionThe teacher tells the pupils about the topic of today’s lesson. She explains the students that the lesson will be conducted by two teachers, English and ICT teacher. Students were explained that some parts of the lesson would be done on computers with the help of their ICT teacher.MotivationAs a revision of body parts they did the last lesson students are called to come in front of the class and play the game:“Simon says”.The teacher explains the rules of the game. Teacher will say a command and part of the body (e.g. Touch your nose) and students have to do it. If the teacher says SIMON SAYS before the command than students have to do it, but she doesn’t say it, just says the command, they shouldn’t do it. If they do the command without SIMON SAYS in front of it, they are out of the game. The game goes on until one student is left.

Main partActivity one-After they revised the body parts, students start doing an exercise with different expressions we can use to describe someone appearance. They do an exercise created with Lionoit. On the whiteboard they can see different expressions that refer to physical appearance. The expressions are mixed up, so students have to come to the computer, and put them in the right place. Their task is to decide if the expressions belong to describing BODY/ HAIR or FACE. For example for body they have the expression -slim, for face they have the expression -mustache, and for hair they have an expression- curly.

Activity two-After they finish sorting out words, teacher checks if all the words are in the right place, and after that students have to do the crossword puzzle. The puzzle is already on their computers. As clues in the crossword they have the translation of the words from the board. So if they click on the nuber they for example get the word nizak, which is a Croatian translation of the word short, so the have to write english word in the crossword. That way they saw the Croatian equivalents of all the words from the board.

Activity three-Next thing students have to do is use the new words for

descriptions. They have to walk around the classroom, and try to memorize how one person looks like, but that person can't guess they were looking at him or her. After they go back to their seats they have to write the description of one person from the clasroom using the expressions they learned. Students then read their descriptions and others have to guess who are they describing.

Activity four-All students get one sheet of blank paper, and they first have to draw the head in the top part of the paper. After they finish they have to fold the paper so the head can't be seen, and give the paper to someone else in the classroom, when they all get folded papers they have to draw the body, without seeing the head, and fold the paper again, and they do the same thing with drawing the legs. When all the students are finished we put all the drawings on the board. Individual students came to the board, choose one drawing and try to describe it.

Activity five- Students watch and listen to a song from youtube. The song is called „What do you look like“ , and after listening to it, they have to elicit all the questions they hear and all the expressions dealing with physical appearance.(e.g. What colour is your hair). Also they should add some more questions taht they can think of to ask about how someone looks like. They will have to use those questions and expressions in the next activity.

Activity six- In this activity students have to practice asking and answering questions about physical appearance. They should use questions they heard in the song. On the projector they can see pictures of different looking people. Teacher explains the game by doing the first example herself. She chooses one person from the picture, and students ask her questions to try to guess which person did she choose. Students can ask only yes/no questions. For example: Is he tall? Is her hair blond?
