General The MKR181A Dual channel recorder consist of the intelligent μR20000 recorder containing a microprocessor, which has been modified for installation on a ship. The instrument accepts heading and rudder angle signals consisting of voltage signals between 0V to 5V DC. It continuously records heading, quadrant and rudder angle using pens, and also periodically prints the date, time, kind of recording, unit, paper feed speed, recording color, and so on. Features 1) The instrument has periodic printing and list printing functions 2) It has both analog and digital display functions. 3) The feed speed of the recording paper can be selected. (25mm/h or 250mm/h) 4) This is useful for when evaluating and analyzing steering performance during a voyage. 5) The pens can be replaced easily.
