Assembling procedure of the door release lock for telescopic left and central opening 2 panels (figure 1), and telescopic right opening 2 panels and central opening 4, 6, 8 panels (figure 2).

Installation procedure of the upper hangers (figure 1) and lower guide shoes (figure 2) in the panel.

ADJUSTMENT OF PANELS

1. Place the panels centered to their plates leaving a gap of 15mm between the extreme of the panel and the plate. Tighten the nuts that join the plates with the suspensions (fig. 1).2. Slide the panels until they are raised with the frame and fix the air cord clamp (fig. 2).3. Slightly straighten the panels by the upper and lower suspension nuts until the panel is completely parallel to the post (fig. 2).4. Check that between tread, between panel and panel and between panel and frame exists a distance of 5mm. (fig. 3).

Once the panels are adjusted, there must be an overlap of 5 mm between a panel and the fire protectim angle of the other panel, as shown in the following drawing.

LOCKING DEVICE

Lock beak with electrical contact adjustment:

1. Using the two screws at A, adjust the lock beak until the centre of the pivot pin is 100mm from the leading edge of the hanger. When the hanged plate touches the rubber stop 1, adjust the contact support plate until there is 1mm between the lock beak and the contact support plate when the lock is fully engaged. (fig. 1, 2 and 3, page 32) 2. Fit the rubber stop A2 in the beak support and adjust so that the beak remains in the horizontal position (fig. 4, page 32)

3. Then adjust rubber stop B2 leaving sufficient clearance for the beak to unlock when the door is opening (fig. 4, page 32)

Roller mounting with skate adjustment:1. Place the centre line of the lock roller wheels to 145mm from the plate extreme by screws B as shown (fig. 6, page 33)2. Check that cabin skate is centered between the rollers of the lock beak (fig. 5 and 7, pages 32-33)

1. The adjustment will be made by the inferior (eccentric) wheels, by rotating the shaft you can adjust the gap that should be between the guide and wheel.2. Adjustment may be done with an allen and flat wrench. An excessive tightening could stop the door.3. The correct adjustment is when wheel touches the guide without braking on it.

Wheels are adjusted in factory, only should be regulated in case of bad functioning.

MAINTENANCE1. Check that the landing doors are fully closed and can only be opened using the emergency key2. Check to ensure that the spring closer fully closes the doors3. Check the information on the identity label (corresponds to the certificate organism for security components and CE label for security components), which must be visible from the back site of the door4. Check that the electrical contact operates and is correctly installed5. Check that the male contact at the electric bridge enters to electrical contact correctly.

Doors 4 panels between CO 600 until CO 915 the measure is 80mm.

If any fault is detected in the lock or electrical contacts, the defective components or complete unit must be replaced.

HINWEISE ZUR INSTALLATION

*)Die Maße b1 und h1 sind identisch mit den lichten Durchgangs-maßen, weil die Zargenseitenteile und die Zargenoberteile nicht breiter bzw höher als 150 mm sein können. Bilder 1, 2, 3.

ÜberdeckungTürblätter müssen,mit Ausnahme an der Schließkante und an der Schwelle, die Türzarge überdecken. Wenn Türblätter übereinandergreifen, muß eine Überdeckung wie an der Türzarge vorhanden sein:Die Überdeckung muß betragen:a. bei horizontal bewegten Schacht- Schiebetüren seitlich und oben mindestens 15mm (Beispiele siehe Bilder 4 bis 7)b. bei horizontal bewegten Schacht- Schiebetüren alsTeleskoptüren an den Stellen, an denen Türblätter überein- andergreifen, mindestens 15mm (Beispiele siehe Bild 8).

Der Abstand zwischen Türblätter und Türzargen sowie bei Schacht-Schiebetüren als Teleskoptüren zwischen den Tür-blättern darf 6mm nicht überschreiten. Der Luftspalt darf an den schließkanten bis 5mm breit, am Fußteil (Schwelle) bis 8mm breit sein. Beispiele siehe Bilder 9 bis 10.

AnschlußfugeDie Anschlußfuge zwischen Türzarge und angrenzender Schachtwand ist nach der Befestigung der Türzarge vollfugig und dicht mit Baustoffen der Klasse A nach DIN 4102 Teil 1 zu verschließen.

Es dürfen nur Befes-tingungselemente nach allgemeiner bauaufsichtlicher Zulassung verwendet werden.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE FOR LANDING DOORS

1. Check and replace the electric contact (as necessary after approximately each 5 million cycles)

2. Periodically check that the gap between the landing door beak and the support of the electric contact is in accordance with the instructions (page 32 fig. 1)

3. Periodically check that the lock’s beak operates correctly

4. Periodically check that the panels’s movement plate ends resting on rubber stop

5. Periodically check (and adjust if necessary) the “gap” between the fast panel and the closing column of the frame (side opening doors)

6. Replace the guide shoes, when they seem to be worn

7. Periodically check and adjust the tension of the air cords. Replace them when they have signs of breaks or wear (approximately after 5 million cycles)

8. The synchronization wheels (aircord pulleys), need no maintenanc. Replace them when they have signs of wear, cracks or noisy operation, (approx. 8 million cycles)

9. Concentric and eccentric wheels of hanger plates need no maintenance. Replace them when they have signs of wear, noisy operation, (approx. 10 million cycles)

10. To prolong the life of the hanger wheels, keep the top tracks clean. Never apply grease to them

11. Periodically check the tension of the door closing spring. It should have sufficient strength to close and lock the door regardless of its position
