In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. Ésta es la revelación del Libro [el Corán] que dimana de Allah, Poderoso, Sabio.

1. The revelation of the Book (Quran) is from Allah, the All Mighty, the All Wise.

2. Ciertamente te hemos revelado el Libro [¡Oh, Muhammad!] con la Verdad; adora a Allah rindiéndole culto sincero.

2. Indeed, We have sent down the Book to you (Muhammad) with truth, so worship Allah, being sincere to Him in religion.

3. ¿Acaso no se le debe rendir a Allah el culto sincero? Aquellos que toman a otros como protectores [y objeto de adoración] fuera de Él dicen: Sólo les adoramos para que nos acerquen a Allah [e intercedan por nosotros]. Allah juzgará entre ellos [y los creyentes] acerca

3. Is it not for Allah, the pure religion. And those who take protectors other than Him, (they say): “We do not worship them but that they may bring us near to Allah.” Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Indeed, Allah does not

de lo que discrepan [la unicidad divina y la idolatría]. En verdad, Allah no guía a quien es mentiroso e incrédulo.

guide him who is a liar, ingrate.

4. Si Allah hubiese querido tomar a alguien como hijo, hubiera elegido a quién quisiere de entre Su creación [dándole el grado de hijo, sin necesidad de compañera alguna para engendrarlo]. ¡Glorificado sea! Él es Allah, Único, Victorioso.

4. If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He created, whatever He willed. Be He glorified. He is Allah, the One, the Omnipotent.

5. Creó los cielos y la Tierra con un fin justo y verdadero, hizo que la noche y el día se sucedan ininterrumpidamente, y sometió el Sol y la Luna haciendo que cada uno recorra [su órbita] por un plazo prefijado [hasta que llegue el Día del Juicio]. ¿Acaso Él no es Poderoso, Absolvedor?

5. He created the heavens and the earth with truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon. Each running (on a fixed course) for an appointed term. Is not He the All Mighty, the Oft Forgiving.

6. Él os creó a partir de un solo ser [Adán], luego de él a su esposa [Eva], y os agració con cuatro parejas de reses [que conforman el ganado]: del ovino dos [oveja y carnero], del cabrío dos [cabra y macho cabrío], de los camélidos dos [camella y camello] y del bovino dos [vaca y toro]. Os creó en los vientres de vuestras madres en sucesivos períodos y en tres tinieblas [el vientre, el útero y la placenta]. Aquel [que os sometió todas las cosas para vuestro beneficio] es Allah, vuestro Señor; Él posee la soberanía [real, en esta vida y en la otra]. No hay nada ni nadie con derecho a ser adorado salvo Él. ¿Cómo entonces os desviáis?

6. He created you from a single soul, then He made from him his mate, and He has provided for you from the cattle eight kinds. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, in three veils of darkness. Such is Allah, your Lord, His is the sovereignty. There is no god except Him. So how are you turned away.

7. Si no creéis, sabed que Allah prescinde de vosotros [y ello no Le perjudica en nada] y que no Le agrada la incredulidad de Sus

7. If you disbelieve, then indeed, Allah is free from need of you. And He does not approve disbelief for His slaves. And if you

siervos; y si sois agradecidos [creyendo en Su unicidad] Le complacerá. Y sabed que nadie cargará con los pecados ajenos; luego compareceréis ante vuestro Señor, y Él os informará sobre lo que hubisteis realizado. Él bien sabe cuanto hay en los corazones

are grateful, He is pleased with it for you. And no laden soul will bear another’s load. Then to your Lord is your return, then He will surely inform you of what you used to do. Indeed, He is Aware of what is in the breasts.

8. Cuando al hombre le acontece una desgracia, invoca a su Señor y se vuelve a Él [pidiéndole que le auxilie]; luego cuando Él le concede una gracia, olvida porqué Le había invocado antes [como si no le hubiese sucedido ninguna desgracia], y atribuye copartícipes a Allah descarriando a otros de Su sendero. Dile [¡Oh, Muhammad! a quien se comporte de esta manera]: Disfruta un poco de tu incredulidad, pues ciertamente [que en la otra vida] te contarás

8. And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him (repentant). Then when He bestows upon him a favor from Himself, he forgets that for which he had called upon before, and he sets up rivals to Allah to mislead (others) from His way. Say: “Enjoy your disbelief for a little while. Indeed, you are of the companions of the Fire.”

entre los moradores del Infierno. 9. ¿Acaso [tal incrédulo] es como quien se prosterna e inclina [en la oración] consagrándose [a ella] en la noche, está precavido de [lo que le aguarda en] la otra vida y anhela la misericordia de su Señor? Dile [¡Oh, Muhammad!]: ¿Acaso son iguales quienes saben [los preceptos de su Señor y los ponen en práctica] y quienes no saben? Y por cierto que sólo reflexionan los dotados de intelecto.

9. Is he, who is obedient in the hours of the night, prostrating

and standing, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, (like one who disbelieves). Say: “Are equal those who know and those who do not know.” Only those of understanding will pay heed.

10. Diles [¡Oh, Muhammad!]: ¡Oh, siervos creyentes! Temed a vuestro Señor, y sabed que quienes obren bien en este mundo recibirán una bella recompensa, y que la Tierra de Allah es amplia [y si os impiden adorarlo, emigrad a otros territorios]. Por cierto que la retribución

10. Say: “O My slaves those who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good, and Allah’s earth is spacious. Indeed, those who are patient will be given their reward in full, without reckoning.”

11. Say (O Muhammad): “Indeed, I am commanded to worship Allah, sincere to Him in religion.”

12. “And I am commanded that I should be first of those who surrender.”

13. Diles: En verdad yo temo, si desobedezco [las órdenes de] mi Señor, [que me azote] el castigo de un día terrible [el Día del Juicio].

13. Say: “Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a great Day.”

14. Say: “Allah (alone) do I worship, sincere to Him in my religion.”

15. Adorad pues [¡Oh, incrédulos!] lo que queráis en lugar de Él. Por cierto que los desdichados serán quienes se pierdan a sí mismos con sus familias el Día de la Resurrección [ingresando al

15. “So worship what you will other than Him.” Say: “Indeed, the losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Is that not, it is the manifest loss.”

ãβ# uô£ ã‚ ø9 $# ß⎦⎫ Î7ßϑ ø9 $# ∩⊇∈∪

Infierno]. ¿Acaso no es ésta la mayor perdición? 16. Serán cubiertos por encima y por debajo por masas de fuego. Con esto atemoriza Allah a Sus siervos. ¡Oh, siervos Míos! Temedme a Mí [y apartaos del pecado].

16. They shall have above them, coverings of fire, and beneath them coverings (of fire). That is with what Allah does warn His slaves. “O My slaves, then fear Me.”

17. Quienes se aparten del Seductor [Satanás y de los ídolos] negándose a adorarle y se vuelvan a Allah, serán albriciados [que tendrán una hermosa recompensa]. Albricia [¡Oh, Muhammad!] a Mis siervos

17. And those who put away false gods lest they should worship them, and turn in repentance to Allah, for them are good tidings. So give good tidings to My slaves.

18. Que escuchen los preceptos [provenientes del Corán y del Mensajero] y los pongan en práctica [que ingresarán al Paraíso]. Éstos serán quienes hayan sido guiados por Allah, y quienes hayan reflexionado.

18. Those who listen to the word then follow the best of it. Such are those whom Allah has guided, and such are those who possess understanding.

19. ¿Acaso tú [¡Oh, Muhammad!] podrás salvar [guiando] a quien Allah ha decretado que se cuente entre los moradores del Infierno, o a aquel que sea condenado al Fuego [el Día del Juicio]?

19. Is then someone (to be guided), against whom is justified the decree of punishment. Can you then save him who is in the Fire.

ô⎯ yϑ sù r& ¨, ym Ïμ ø‹ n= tã èπ yϑ Î= x.

É># x‹ yè ø9 $# |MΡ r' sù r& ä‹ É)Ζè? ⎯ tΒ ’ Îû

Í‘$Ζ9 $# ∩⊇®∪

20. Quienes teman a su Señor, morarán en la otra vida en habitaciones elevadas, y sobre ellos habrá otras habitaciones [donde estarán quienes hayan alcanzado grados más elevados]; todas construidas de oro y plata, [en jardines] donde correrán los ríos. Ésta es la promesa de Allah; y sabed que Allah no falta a Su promesa.

20. But those who have feared their Lord, for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, underneath which rivers flow. A promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in (His) promise.

21. ¿Acaso no has reparado [¡Oh, Muhammad!] que Allah hace descender el agua del cielo, y luego hace que surja como manantiales en la tierra; y hace brotar

21. Have you not seen that Allah sends down water from the sky and causes it to flow as water springs in the earth, then He produces thereby crops of varying colors, then

öΝ s9 r& t s? ¨βr& ©!$# tΑ t“Ρ r& z⎯ ÏΒ

Ï™ !$ yϑ ¡¡9 $# [™ !$ tΒ … çμs3 n= |¡ sù yì‹ Î6≈ oΨtƒ

†Îû ÇÚ ö‘ F{$# ¢ΟèO ßlÌ øƒä† ⎯ Ïμ Î/

% Yæ ö‘ y— $ Î= tG øƒ’Χ … çμ çΡ≡ uθø9 r& §Ν èO

con ella [el agua] cultivos de diversos colores que después van secándose y puedes ver que se tornan amarillentos y finalmente se convierten en heno. En verdad que en esto hay un motivo de reflexión para los dotados de intelecto.

they dry, then you see them turned yellow, then He makes them chaff. Indeed, in that is a reminder for those of understanding.

É=≈t7 ø9 F{$# ∩⊄⊇∪

22. ¿Acaso aquel a quien Allah abrió su corazón para [que siga la guía y acepte] el Islam, y él [por ello] está colmado por la luz de su Señor [se puede equiparar con quien no cree]? ¡Ay pues, de quienes tienen el corazón endurecido [y no aceptan] el Mensaje de Allah [el Corán]! Ciertamente ellos están en un evidente error.

22. So is he whose breast Allah has opened to Islam, then he is upon a light from his Lord (like him who is in darkness). So woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allah. Those are in manifest error.

23. Allah ha revelado el mejor de los Mensajes [el Corán], el cual es un Libro armonioso [sin contradicciones] que reitera las exhortaciones [y las

the best statement, a Book (Quran), its parts resembling each other, repeating. Shiver from it the skins of those who fear their Lord (when they hear it).

öΝ åκ ®5 u‘ §ΝèO ß⎦,Î# s? öΝ èδߊθè= ã_

historias]. Su recitación hace erizar la piel de quienes temen a su Señor, pero luego cuando recuerdan a Allah ésta [la piel] y sus corazones se apaciguan. Ésta es la guía de Allah, con la que Él encamina a quien quiere; y sabed que para quien Allah decreta el desvío, no habrá nadie que lo pueda guiar.

Then soften their skins and their hearts at the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah, He guides therewith whom He wills. And whomever Allah sends astray, then for him there is not any guide.

24. ¿Acaso aquel que se resguarda del terrible castigo del Día de la Resurrección [se equipara con quien no sigue la guía]? Y por cierto que a los inicuos se les dirá [el Día del Juicio]: Sufrid [el castigo por] lo que obrasteis.

24. Is then he who will confront with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection (like him who is saved). And it will be said to the wrongdoers: “Taste

what you used to earn.”

25. Quienes les precedieron [a los idólatras de La Meca] desmintieron [a sus Mensajeros], y fueron sorprendidos por el castigo desde donde menos se lo esperaban.

25. Those before them denied, so the punishment came upon them from where they did not perceive.

26. Allah les hizo sufrir la humillación en la vida mundanal, y el castigo de la otra vida será mayor; si lo supieran.

26. So Allah made them taste humiliation in the life of the world. And the punishment of the Hereafter will be greater, if only they knew.

27. Hemos expuesto en el Corán toda clase de ejemplos para que reflexionen.

27. And certainly, We have put forth for mankind in this Quran all kinds of similitudes, that they might remember.

28. Este Corán ha sido revelado en idioma árabe y sin contradicciones, para que [puedan entenderle y así] teman a Allah.

28. An Arabic Quran, without any deviance, that they might fear (Allah).

öΝ ßγ= yè©9 tβθà) −G tƒ ∩⊄∇∪

29. Allah ejemplifica [la idolatría] con un hombre que tiene muchos amos asociados que discrepan entre sí, y [al monoteísmo] con un hombre sometido a un solo amo [que sólo tiene un objetivo]. ¿Acaso se asemejan? ¡Glorificado sea Allah! [No se equiparan]; pero la mayoría de los hombres lo ignoran.

29. Allah puts forth a similitude, a man belonging to many disputing partners, and a man (belonging) exclusively to one man. Are the two equal in similitude. Praise be to Allah. But most of them do not know.

30. Por cierto que tú fallecerás [¡Oh, Muhammad!] y ellos también fallecerán [pues nadie es inmortal].

30. Indeed, you will die and indeed, they will die.

31. Y el Día de la Resurrección [¡Oh, hombres!] discutiréis [y pretenderéis excusaros] frente a vuestro Señor.

31. Then indeed, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord you will dispute.

öΝ ä3În/ u‘ šχθßϑ ÅÁ tG øƒrB ∩⊂⊇∪

32. ¿Acaso existe alguien más inicuo que quien inventa mentiras sobre Allah y desmiente la Verdad [con la que fueron enviados los Profetas] cuando se les presenta? Por cierto que el Infierno será la morada de los incrédulos.

32. So who does greater wrong than him who utters a lie against Allah, and denies the truth when it has come to him. Is not in Hell the home for disbelievers.

33. Ciertamente que quien os ha traído la Verdad [el Profeta Muhammad] y aquellos que creyeron en él y le siguieron son los piadosos.

33. And he who has brought the truth and has confirmed it, such are those, the righteous.

34. Ellos tendrán cuanto deseen junto a su Señor. Ésta será la recompensa para los

34. They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of those

35. Allah perdonará las faltas que hubieren cometido, y les recompensará por las buenas obras que hayan realizado.

35. That Allah may remove from them the worst of what they did, and reward them their due for the best of what they used to do.

36. ¿Acaso no es suficiente Allah [como Protector] para Su siervo [Muhammad]? Pero ellos [los idólatras] intentan atemorizarte con sus ídolos [a los cuales adoran] en vez de Él. Y sabed que para quien Allah ha decretado el desvío nadie lo podrá guiar.

36. Is not Allah sufficient for His slave (Muhammad). And they frighten you with those (whom they worship) other than Him. And whom Allah sends astray, then for him there is not any guide.

37. Y para quien Allah decretó que siguiera la guía, no habrá nadie que lo pueda desviar. Por cierto que Allah es Poderoso [para decretar lo que Le place], y se venga [de quienes Le desobedecen].

37. And whomever Allah guides, so for him there is not any misleader. Is not Allah All Mighty, the Owner of Retribution.

38. And if you ask them: “Who created

los idólatras:] ¿Quién creó los cielos y la Tierra ? Te responderán: ¡Allah! Diles: ¿Acaso no observáis que aquello que invocáis en vez de Allah [carece de poder]? ¿Si Allah quisiera azotarme con algún daño, acaso ellos [vuestros ídolos] me librarían de él? ¿O si deseara cubrirme con Su misericordia, podrían ellos impedirlo? Diles [¡Oh, Muhammad!]: Me es suficiente con Allah. Quienes confíen verdaderamente en Allah que se encomienden a Él.

the heavens and the earth.” Surely, they will say: “Allah.” Say: “Then have you thought what you call upon other than Allah, if Allah intended for me some harm, could they remove from me His harm, or if He intended for me some mercy, could they restrain His mercy.” Say: “Sufficient for me is Allah. In Him trust those who put their trust.”

39. Diles: ¡Oh, pueblo mío! Obrad como queráis que yo obraré [acorde a lo que me ha sido revelado]. Ya sabréis

39. Say: “O my people, work according to your position. Indeed, I (too) am working. So soon you will come to know.”

40. A quien le corresponde el castigo humillante [en esta vida], y quien recibirá un castigo eterno [en la otra].

40. “To whom will come a disgracing punishment, and on whom will descend an everlasting punishment.”

41. [¡Oh, Muhammad!] Por cierto que te revelamos el Libro con la Verdad para [que se lo transmitas a] los hombres. Quien siga la guía lo hará en beneficio propio, y quien se desvíe [luego de haberle llegado] lo hará en detrimento propio; sabe que tú no eres responsable [por sus obras].

41. Indeed, We sent down to you (Muhammad) the Book for mankind in truth. Then whoever is guided, it is for his soul. And whoever goes astray, so he goes astray only for his detriment. And you are not a warder over them.

42. Allah toma las almas [de los hombres] en el momento de la muerte, y durante el sueño las de quienes aún no les ha llegado su hora. Retiene aquellas de quienes decretó su muerte, y devuelve las otras hasta [que se cumpla] el plazo prefijado [para su muerte]. Por cierto que en esto hay signos para quienes reflexionan.

42. Allah takes away the souls at the time of their death. And those who do not die (He takes their souls) during their sleep. Then He keeps those (souls) for which He has decreed death, and sends the others for a term appointed. Indeed,

in that are signs for a people who reflect.

43. Or have they taken others than Allah as intercessors. Say: “Even though they do

u™ !$ yè x ä© 4 ö≅ è% öθ s9 uρ r& (#θçΡ$Ÿ2 Ÿω

ante Allah, cuando ellos no pueden interceder por vosotros, ni tampoco razonan?

not have power over anything, and have no understanding.”

44. Diles: Allah es Quien autoriza toda intercesión. A Él pertenece el reino de los cielos y la Tierra ; y por cierto que ante Él compareceréis.

44. Say: “To Allah belongs intercession entirely. His is the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you will be returned.”

45. Y cuando se menciona a Allah como única divinidad, los corazones de los incrédulos sienten rechazo, pero cuando se mencionan a otros [ídolos] en lugar de Él, entonces se alegran.

45. And when Allah the One is mentioned, are filled with disgust the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter. And when those (whom they worship) other than Him are mentioned, behold, they rejoice.

ôN— r' yϑ ô©$# Ü>θè= è% t⎦⎪Ï%©! $# Ÿω šχθãΖÏΒ ÷σ ムÍοtÅzFψ$$ Î/ ( # sŒÎ) uρ

46. Di: ¡Oh, Allah! Tú eres el Creador de los cielos y de la Tierra , el conocedor de lo oculto y lo manifiesto; y ciertamente Tú juzgarás a Tus siervos por lo que discreparon [en sus creencias].

46. Say: “O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, You will judge between Your slaves about that wherein they used to differ.”

47. Si los inicuos poseyeran todo cuanto hay en la Tierra , y otra cantidad

47. And if that those who did wrong had what is in earth all together and the like

öθ s9 uρ ¨β r& š⎥⎪Ï% ©# Ï9 (#θßϑ n= sß $ tΒ

’Îû ÇÚ ö‘F{$# $YèŠÏΗ sd … ã&s# ÷W ÏΒ uρ

semejante, querrían entregarlo como rescate para salvarse del castigo el Día de la Resurrección ; pero Allah ya les mostrará lo que no se imaginan.

of it with it, they would offer it to ransom (themselves) thereby from the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection. And there will become apparent to them from Allah what they had not been reckoning.

48. Y se les mostrará las obras malas que cometieron, y el castigo del que se burlaban los rodeará.

48. And there will become apparent to them the evils that which they earned, and they will be encircled by that which they used to ridicule.

(#θçΡ% x. ⎯ Ïμ Î/ tβρâ™ Ì“ öκ tJ ó¡ o„ ∩⊆∇∪

49. Cuando al hombre le sucede una desgracia Nos invoca; pero luego, cuando le concedemos una gracia, dice: La gracia que se me ha concedido es porque me lo merecía. Pero en verdad esto es una prueba [de Allah para evidenciar quiénes son agradecidos y quiénes no], y la mayoría lo ignora.

49. Then when an affliction touches man, he calls upon Us, then when We bestow on him a favor from Us. He says: “This is given to me only because of (my) knowledge.” Nay, but it is a trial, but most of them do not know.

50. Así dijeron sus ancestros, y no les beneficiaron en nada las riquezas que

50. Certainly, the same was said by those before them. So it did not avail them

ô‰ s% $oλ m;$s% t⎦⎪Ï%©! $# ⎯ÏΒ öΝ ÎγÎ= ö7 s%

!$ yϑ sù 4© o_ øîr& Ν åκ ÷] tã $Β (#θçΡ% x.

(anything) whatever they had earned.

51. Y les azotó el castigo por lo que cometieron; y los inicuos de entre éstos serán castigados por sus malas obras, y no lo podrán evitar.

51. Then the evils of what they earned overtook them. And those who did wrong among these (people), will be overtaken by the evils of that which they earned. And they will not be able to escape.

52. ¿Acaso no saben que Allah concede un abundante sustento a quien Él quiere y se lo restringe a quien Le place? En verdad que en esto hay signos para los creyentes.

52. Do they not know that Allah extends the provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills). Indeed, in that are signs for the people who believe.

53. Diles [¡Oh, Muhammad! a quienes transmitan Mi Mensaje que Yo digo]: ¡Oh, siervos Míos! Vosotros que os habéis excedido [cometiendo pecados] en detrimento propio, no desesperéis de la misericordia de Allah; por cierto que Allah puede perdonar todos los pecados, porque Él es Absolvedor,

53. Say: “O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves. Do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

Misericordioso. 54. Arrepentíos ante vuestro Señor y someteos a Él, antes de que os sorprenda el castigo, y entonces no seáis socorridos.

54. “And turn in repentance to your Lord, and surrender to Him, before that there comes upon you the punishment, then you will not be helped.”

55. Y poned en práctica los preceptos que os han sido revelados [en el Corán] por vuestro Señor, antes de que os llegue el castigo repentinamente, sin que os deis cuenta.

55. “And follow the best of what is sent down to you from your Lord, before that there comes upon you the punishment suddenly, while you do not perceive.”

56. [Precaveos de que os llegue el Día del Juicio y os lamentéis] Diciendo: ¡Qué pena! Ahora estoy perdido por haber desobedecido las órdenes de Allah, y realmente me contaba entre quienes se burlaban [del castigo].

56. Lest a soul should say: “Alas, woe to me, over what I neglected (my duty) in regard to Allah, and that I was indeed among those who mocked.”

57. O digáis [el Día del Juicio]: ¡Cómo desearía que Allah me hubiera guiado para contarme entre los piadosos!

57. Or should say: “If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous.”

58. O digáis, cuando veáis el castigo: Si pudiera retornar [a la vida mundanal], entonces me contaría entre los benefactores.

58. Or should say, when he sees the punishment: “If only I had another chance, then I could be among those who do good.”

59. [Pero Allah dirá:] Ya se os presentaron Mis signos evidentes [en el Corán] pero los desmentisteis, os ensoberbecisteis, y fuisteis incrédulos.

59. Yes, certainly there came to you My revelations, so you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers.

60. El Día de la Resurrección verás [¡Oh, Muhammad!] que los rostros de quienes desmintieron a Allah estarán ensombrecidos. ¿Acaso no es el Infierno la morada para los soberbios?

60. And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah, their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant.

61. Y Allah salvará a los piadosos y les concederá el triunfo [ingresándoles al Paraíso], y no los alcanzará el castigo [del cual se precavieron], ni se entristecerán jamás.

61. And Allah will deliver those who feared Him to their places of success (Paradise). Evil shall not touch them, nor shall they grieve.

62. Allah es el Creador de todas las cosas, y Él es su Amparador.

62. Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is Guardian over all things.

ª!$# ß, Î=≈ yz Èe≅à2 &™ ó©x« ( uθ èδuρ

4’ n? tã Èe≅ ä. &™ ó©x« ×≅‹ Ï. uρ ∩∉⊄∪

63. A Él pertenecen las llaves de los cielos y de la Tierra [y el poder total sobre ellos]; y sabed que quienes no creen en los signos de Allah son los perdedores.

63. To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the revelations of Allah, such are those who are the losers.

64. Diles [¡Oh, Muhammad! a los idólatras]: ¿Cómo pretendéis ¡Oh, ignorantes! que adore a vuestros ídolos en vez de Allah?

64. Say (O Muhammad,): “Is it other than Allah you order me to worship, O you ignorant ones.”

ö≅ è% u ö tó sù r& «!$# þ’ÎoΤÿρ ããΒ ù' s? ߉ ç7ôã r&

$ pκ š‰r& tβθè=Îγ≈ pgø: $# ∩∉⊆∪

65. Por cierto que se te ha revelado [¡Oh, Muhammad!], y también a los [Profetas] que te precedieron, que si atribuyes copartícipes a Allah tus obras se malograrán y te contarás entre los perdedores.

65. “And certainly, it has been revealed to you, and to those before you. If you associate (with Allah), your deeds will surely be in vain, and you will surely be among the losers.”

66. [No obedezcas a los idólatras] Sino que adora sólo a Allah, y sé de los agradecidos.

66. “But worship (only) Allah, and be among the grateful.”

t⎦⎪ÌÅ3≈¤±9 $# ∩∉∉∪

67. [Los idólatras] No han valorado a Allah en Su verdadera magnitud. El Día de la Resurrección contendrá toda la Tierra en Su puño, y los cielos estarán plegados en Su diestra. ¡Glorificado y enaltecido sea Allah! Él está por encima de lo que Le atribuyen.

67. And they have not appraised Allah with His true appraisal. While the entire earth shall be in His grasp on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens shall be folded up in His right hand. Glorified is He and High Exalted above what they associate as partners (to Him).

4’ n?≈yè s? uρ $£ϑ tã šχθä. Îô³ç„ ∩∉∠∪

68. Será soplada la trompeta [por el Ángel Isrâfîl] y todos los que estén en los cielos y en la Tierra perecerán, excepto quien Allah quiera; luego será soplada por segunda vez y [todos resucitarán] poniéndose de pie [para ser juzgados]. Entonces verán [lo que Allah hará con ellos].

68. And the trumpet will be blown, and will fall dead whoever is in the heavens and whoever is in the earth, except him whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown a second time, then behold, they will be standing, looking on.

69. La Tierra se iluminará con la luz de su Señor, el registro de las obras se expondrá, y se hará comparecer a los Profetas [que serán preguntados acerca de la

69. And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the Book will be set up, and will be brought forward the prophets and the witnesses, and it will be judged between them

70. Y será juzgada cada alma acorde a sus obras, y Él es Quien mejor sabe cuánto hicieron.

70. And each soul will be paid in full for what it did. And He is best Aware of what they do.

71. Los incrédulos serán arriados en tropeles hacia el Infierno, y cuando lleguen a él, serán abiertas sus puertas y sus [Ángeles] guardianes les dirán: ¿Acaso no se os presentaron Mensajeros de entre vosotros que os transmitieron los signos de vuestro Señor, y os advirtieron sobre la comparecencia en este día [el Día del Juicio]?

71. And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups. Until, when they reach it, its gates will be opened. And its warders will say to them: “Did there not come to you messengers

from among yourselves,

reciting to you the revelations of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours.” They will say: “Yes.” But the word of punishment has been

ô⎯Å3≈ s9 uρ ôM¤) ym èπyϑ Î= x. É># x‹ yè ø9 $#

’ n? tã t⎦⎪ÍÏ≈ s3ø9 $# ∩∠⊇∪

Responderán: ¡Sí! [se nos presentaron]. Pero [debido a que les desmentimos] se cumplirá el designio de Allah de castigar a los incrédulos.

72. Se les dirá: Entrad por las puertas del Infierno, y moraréis allí eternamente. ¡Qué pésima morada para los soberbios!

72. It will be said (to them): “Enter you the gates of Hell to abide therein.” So (what) an evil abode for the arrogant.

š⎥⎪ÎÉi9 x6 tG ßϑø9 $# ∩∠⊄∪

73. Pero quienes hayan temido a su Señor, serán conducidos al Paraíso en tropeles, y cuando lleguen a él, serán abiertas sus puertas y sus [Ángeles] guardianes les dirán: Vosotros estáis a salvo [de todo pesar y castigo], pues fuisteis correctos [en la vida mundanal]. Ingresad en él, pues allí viviréis eternamente.

73. And those who feared their Lord will be led to the Garden in groups. Until, when they reach it, and its gates will be opened, and its warders will say to them: “Peace be upon you. You have done well, so enter it to abide eternally.”

74. Y exclamarán: ¡Alabado sea Allah! Quien cumplió Su promesa y nos hizo heredar la tierra del Paraíso, y habitaremos

74. And they will say: “Praise be to Allah, who has fulfilled for us His promise, and has made us inherit the land. We

$ oΨ s% y‰ |¹ … çνy‰ ôã uρ $uΖ rO u‘ ÷ρ r& uρ

uÚ ö‘ F{$# é&§θ t7 oK tΡ š∅ÏΒ Ïπ ¨Ζ yf ø9 $#

donde queramos en él. ¡Qué excelente la recompensa de los que obraron el bien!

can dwell in the Garden wherever we will.” So bounteous is the reward of workers.

75. Y verás [¡Oh, Muhammad!] a los Ángeles, alrededor del Trono, glorificando a su Señor. Ciertamente [el Día del Juicio] se juzgará a la creación con total justicia, y se exclamará: ¡Alabado sea Allah, Señor del Universo!

75. And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne from all round, glorifying the praises of their Lord. And it will be judged between them with truth, and it will be said: “All the Praises are for Allah, the Lord of the worlds.”
