Metric-English calculator made of soil-proof laminated material is 4 χ 9% inches in size. The calculator is encased in a sturdy plastic pouch in which are imprinted the names of 113 countries using the metric system and 74 employing the British system. One side lists temperature conver­sions from ° F. to ° C. and vice versa from -459.4° to 3000° F. plus 65 simple conversion relations from one system to the other. The other side has windows for instant conversions of length, weight, and volume dimen­sions. Windows provide for conver­sions into millimeters of fractional and decimal equivalents of 1/64 of 1 inch to 1 inch by 1/64 increments. Two-Color Pyrometer

The self-calibrating instrument meas­ures the same hot object at two wave­lengths and records changing ambient temperatures speedily and accurately. Other features are low voltage circuit operation, flexible phototube replace­ment, and interchangeable objective lenses. The pyrometer is available for temperature ranges from 1400° to 6500° F. The interval from 500° to 2000° F. is obtainable on any single scale with linear scale readings accurate to within 20° F. on the 2000° F. range for ambients up to 140° F.
