Tea Rose Tribune March 2017
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®
Xi Zeta Omega Chapter (ΞΖΩ)
Welcome to March Madness sorors!
As many of you know, March is a time of basketball fervor. People from around the world view college basketball in anticipation comparable to the Super Bowl. For Xi Zeta
Omega, our March Madness Chapter meeting will be filled with fun, excitement, and something a little different just like the scores and winners in college basketball.
In an effort to showcase “other” committees that usually do not present monthly, we will feature a few of those “little
known” committees and share what they do and who chairs them.
The Executive Committee wants to ensure that we are giving all of our leaders an opportunity to share the great things their committees are doing and how you can support and/or
join them. This is your opportunity to get in a “bracket” and serve our Chapter and our community.
Expect fun! Expect to see something new! Expect to see and hear how Xi Zeta Omega Chapter is Launching New Dimensions! Come ready to cheer for the home teams!
In service!

35th Anniversary: 35 Acts of Kindness
In honor of our Chapter's 35 years of service, we are asking all sorors to
document 35 Acts of Kindness for our memoirs by the end of the year. You are
welcome to document any way you choose, i.e. using words, poems, pictures, hash tags. It's completely up to you.
As you are going through the month giving back to others and our community, simply
make a note of the act or take a photo of yourself and other sorors involved. Stop by the
Pinky Projects table at chapter meetings through the end of the year and just let us know.
We will take care of the rest. At our end of the year event, we will honor those sorors with
the most documented acts of kindness and the biggest hearts for sharing themselves with
others. What’s most important is that you HAVE FUN!!
